Also has a cozy feel so you can bring a friend or a date and it’s not too loud to have a conversation or business meeting.

The customer service was top-notch—Jess, the manager, was incredibly attentive and welcoming, and Jill, our new server, did a wonderful job making sure we were taken care of. There were a few minor delays, but that’s to be expected on a beautiful Saturday evening out on the patio. The atmosphere made up for it, and the drinks were absolutely on point. We tried the Bloody Mary, a couple of Hemingways, margaritas, and the Dusty Trail—all were excellent and expertly crafted. For dinner, we went with the spicy chicken sandwiches, fish and chips, and skirt steak tacos. Every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. “If you only choose Marriot properties like I do (Platinum Elite) then this hotel is probably the 2nd best option in Boise with the top spot going to the newer Residence Inn that's right Downtown. This Courtyard is only a couple of blocks from the beautiful river and its awesome miles long walkways. There's also a large park across the street and the University is a ten minute walk away. My wife and I went for a late night stroll along the river and that's one of the reasons I love Boise: it felt completely safe even though it was close to Midnight! In the morning we strolled along the river again and then to the awesome little Downton, it's probably no more than 15 minutes to Downtown proper if you take the most direct route (by foot I mean, it would be a two minute drive!). The hotel itself is older but appears to be recently renovated. We were fortunate enough to have a two room king suite that was actually two connecting rooms. One with a comfortable king bed and its own bathroom, the other with a living room and another bathroom. The suite was odd in that there was a large area that was clearly meant for a kitchenette complete with kitchen cupboards but it only had a small fridge. The room was nice enough but we had to keep the curtains closed as it was ground floor and literally the parking lot was directly by our windows with cars just a few feet away. That being said, we probably only got that floor because we asked for an upgrade and showed up at 10pm. As would be expected, there is a beautiful courtyard with a ton of nice seating options. We noticed all of the rooms facing the courtyard had either balconies or patios and next time I'd forego a suite in favour of one of these rooms. The only fail as this hotel was the Bistro. As a Platinum member you get $10 food credit per night per person for up to two people so we had $20 to spend. The breakfast options were extremely limited and although not crazy expensive by 4 star standards, very pricey for an order at the counter kind of place. Almost nothing sounded appetizing but my "loaded tater Tots" (they were covered in bacon and cheese) were decent. My wife's toasted bagel came still cold and wasn't much better after it came out of the kitchen a second time, it also didn't come with the cream cheese on it but instead came with a packet with a plastic knife to spread it. Weirdly, my breakfast came with real cutlery. I'd stay here again for the excellent location but would skip the Bistro next time.“

“Had breakfast this morning at at The Chef's Hut. I had no idea this restaurant was even here. I must say it was such a great experience. Loved the atmosphere, and the decorations were so cool. Wait staff was on point, our coffee was always full. Food came out quickly even though the place was busy. I had the eye opener for breakfast and I must say it was some of the best biscuits and gravy I have had. The rest of the food was top notch as well. If you want great food do yourself a favor and head to The Chef's Hut, you won't be disappointed. 10 out of 10.“

The heated dining patio had great atmosphere and fun music, and it felt like a place that has been enjoyed for many years. “My wife and I are retired. Today, Tuesday, we took a field trip from our home in Star to Camel's Back Park, where we hiked up to the top and enjoyed the view. We thought it would be nice to have lunch in Hyde Park, an area we enjoy, and so we tried Hyde Park Pub and Grill for the first time. The interior is full of dark wood, some TV screens for sports, and a bar area. To me, hints of an Old English Pub, which I'm sure is the ambience they're going for. Warm and comfy. The restaurant was not crowded, and we took a booth facing 13th St. Our server, a young woman with shorter hair and some facial jewelry, who was knitting a sweater (how cool!) when she was not tending customers, was our server and took great care of us. My wife had the burger and fries and I had the Fiesta Chicken Salad. My wife enjoyed her burger. My salad was tasty, though the chicken was a little dry. We will be back!“

“I have had burgers in just about every state in the US, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Canada.... this was hands down the BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD in my life. we ordered the Hangover with some added fig jam and it was Devine! The sweetest of the jam paired perfectly with the saltiness of the burger, egg, and bacon. Ahhhhhmazing! We have had the fries and tots as well, very good! Staff is always excellent and environment is lovely and cozy. Highly recommend.“
