“Visited Peaceful Belly for my Birthday. Such a beautiful farm and gorgeous restaurant space and adorable farm store. Everything we ate was delicious! The staff was amazing, taking the time to talk to us about the ciders and dishes. The young person at the farm store also helped me pick out an eggplant because I have never purchased one before- such great information for the future! Will definitely be back!!!”

“We have had many lunches and dinners at the Caldwell Craft Lounge, and have never had a bad meal, drink or service! Our latest late lunch early dinner was on May 9th, and our server Jewelia was top notch! Perfectly timing her return to our table, never had to ask her for anything, smile on her face the whole time! Love the Craft Lounge!”

“My steak was cooked perfectly. Medium rare is so easy to get wrong or overcook but it was absolutely perfect! Dahlia was our server and she was so sweet and was amazing at anticipating needs; refilling our drinks before we had to ask, asking us if we wanted things like fry sauce before we could even think of it. Going at 4:30 in the evening helped to ensure a calm and welcoming dinner like setting rather than a bar. We throughly enjoyed our time there!”

“I absolutely love this place! I am fairly new to gluten and dairy free, so I mostly fix food at home. However, I am sometimes just out of ideas and energy and Twisted Fig comes in clutch with delicious food that fits my diet. They are great about accommodations and modifying their menu items. Everything tastes so fresh and hits the spot every time.”

“AMAZING coffee. This is my third time stopping here and they have THE BEST caramel Machato’s. I’ve seen three different baristas but my drink has tasted the same every time. 10/10 consistency 10/10 coffee. I’m not usually a fan of breakfast burritos but theirs are sooo yummy.”

“My wife and I are visiting the area from across the valley and we had never been to the orchard house. We got there right at 11 AM when they start serving lunch so we went from thinking breakfast to immediately thinking lunch. It wasn’t a hard switch because it smelled amazing in there

So we both ended up having burgers and the cook was nice enough to load mine up with a bunch of jalapeños, and it was great. Their fries and tater tots are amazing.

I like that it’s got a side of the highway Café type of feel. They have knickknacks all around for sale and delicious pies and cobblers and cookies under the glass while you wait to get seated. We’re definitely coming back! 😃❤️”

“Went there this past week for the first time in 20 yrs. Was excited to get the finger steaks (used to love them). Unfortunately they were over-cooked and dry, which was SO disappointing. Guess I’ll stick to the hamburgers.”

“We are visiting from the uk and always love to visit Cattlemen’s in Dixon. We have been twice this vacation and both times were fantastic! We visited last night, 13th August and were served by Jess, she was just amazing, everything was perfect, food was out of this world and we were looked after with impeccable service and some great humour thrown in! Jess, you are a credit to the restaurant! Both of my daughters loved the great ambiance of Cattlemen’s. Thank you again, one of the reasons why we love visiting this part of Californi. “Serious love for this Caldwell original, has always been a favorite of mine. Mile high shakes, fried mushrooms, scotch and soda, and the most unique fry sauce I have had i love it all.”

“My go-to is a lengua burrito and Mario's does a phenomenal job at executing this! The texture and flavor are on point and the portions are fair for the cost.

I have also tried a lengua sope which was good as well but not my go-to.

The birria was your typical birria for the area, hits the spot on a cool day!

The Horchata and Jamaica are a must-have, I am biased as I love these but they continue to maintain the same flavor I have come to love and expect.

The torta is also a delicious item, one of my favorites for lunch!

There isn't much seating in the area but it is close enough to Indian creek and other parks that walking somewhere to eat is an option.

“I read a comment about the way people are treated, the complaint was that they were reprimanded because there kids had no shoes and were they were not behavior was careless. They said that the employees were rude. The people are extremely helpful and I have never been less than anything but satisfied with the food,its excellent”

“First off, this family is the nicest most generous family I’ve met. They are so hardworking and do everything they can to make sure you get what you want. They catered my wedding on June 14 this year and my guests are still talking about the food. They came out and served my guests happily, I’ve had so many comments on how friendly they all were.

The restaurant is amazing as well! The birria noodles were top notch!

“I'm a truck driver and I was in Caldwell for the weekend and I was looking for a good place to go for breakfast on Sunday and I saw that there's a dirt lot with room for parking my semi truck and trailer. The food was great and the customers were nice and friendly and the waitresses are nice and love to have fun like the old days. 5 stars in my book.”

“I stopped in for some cinnamon rolls to take to the local Jeep dealer as a thank you for the work completed on my car. Everyone there raved about them, so I went back and bought some lemon bars. Everything was amazing, fresh and delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful.”

“Love the freshly cooked hamburgers and fresh condiments on it every time. The burgers are always juicy with tons of flavor. I like that they allow you to add any standard condiments that you want, no extra charge. The french fries are also awesome, always fresh, hot and crispy.”

“Best pan I've had in a long time, I passed by one day after being at the post office and my eyes just went directly to the building I told my son and we went there the next day, wow so friendly we felt comfortable. The pan is delicious and that is our go to place. Great service I recommend this bakery.”

I did notice a sign on the door stating so when I was leaving. If someone is eating on a budget, this may cause problems for them. This place is still worthy of 5 stars!”

“It's a bar. A Great one at that! The review asking how much is spent per person is academic- it depends on how much you drink but they are Very fair- They give a discount if you're out riding and stop by while on your bike ( of the motorized variety, i'm not sure if the discount would apply to any pedal pushing bikers! A shot will presently run you about $5 compared to $8 per shot over at Verns for some reason and $3 difference PER shot is one good reason to go to Sportsman instead. They've got dart boards and pool tables - don't be upset if I'm mistaken, but I believe playing pool is free on Tuesdays...The best part is is that, in contrast to most any other bar in town, at Sportsman Hideout, a person can relax and enjoy yourself without being deluged with the constant flow of irritating kids, Brah, like Oh mah gawd, yipping until your ears bleed. The staff is attentive and most Everyone there (except one person- YOU know who you are! LoL- just kidding!) are awesome and friendly. Overall, whatever you're looking for, this is the place an adult to go to have a few drinks, frozen pizza and to just relax and enjoy oneself.”

“The Canton has been my favorite Chinese Restaurant for years! Sometimes I eat there and other times I order take out. The service has always been good and the food is excellent. The portions are so big I can never eat it all and end up with another meal when I heat up the leftovers!”

I parked in the Veteran parking with my husband and came back to a boot on my car! $150 wasted on ignorance. I was a regular customer but that didn't matter. Faith the "Manager"was so unprofessional I would love to know who the owners are and why they would put this foolish girl in charge of their establishment is beyond me!!! I canceled my party but not only did they lose my business I will make sure everyone knows about this!”
