“Some of the best food I’ve had! It’s priced about the same as Olive Garden but 3x as good. 2x as fast. And overall just an amazing place! I normally don’t do reviews unless it’s really bad or extremely good and this exceeded all expectations so thank you! Definitely will be coming back!“

“Food, service, ambiance...this place has it all. Luckily we were able to get in immediately at lunch time by sitting at the bar. Hubs and I each ordered the Astoria Bloody Mary. Pretty straightforward and hit the spot. Hubs ordered the Brunch Burger. It came with delicious fries. Sammy was solid. I ordered the Idaho Benny...hands down the best thing I've eaten in a long time. The crispy bacon and beef roast were on point when mixed with the potatoes and aioli. I wish I could have eaten it all, but the portion was HUGE! Great service as well!“

“I stopped by on my lunch as an amazon delivery driver and the oinker. I’ve never been here before, I decided to stop on my lunch and i’m so thankful I did! It was not only the best grilled cheese i’ve ever had, but best sandwich i’ve ever had. The meat was so tender and juicy, the flavors together were so harmonious! The customer service was amazing too, I was unsure of what to order as I had never came in before and the employees were patient and very kind! I don’t live close but i’m definitely coming back and bringing my family, this place is AMAZING! 1000/10 recommend.“

“My family took me to breakfast on a weekday morning when I visited, and it was a great experience. Greated and seated right away. Despite it being busy, the servers were friendly and helpful, and it was a very comfortable atmosphere. Good variety of yummy items on the menu. The food was great and arrived at our table quickly. They even gave me a togo cup of fresh coffee. ❤️ (Not normal where I am from) I highly recommend this place and look forward to stopping in again.“

“This place is fan-freakin-tastic! The food is delicious and the staff is absolutely wonderful. I even had a regular customer (we were traveling) offer me the first bite of his pancake (I forget what kind, but it's great for borderline diabetics / diabetics). It may be paleo, but don't quote me. We will definitely patronize this local establishment when we're in Coeur d'Alene.“

“If i could give this place a million stars I would! The staff is wonderful, the gal that takes the orders is hilarious! We love her. My husband gets so excited everytime we go here because he loves the philly cheesesteak so much. These are the best.“

“What a perfect place! Everything was fabulous! A little pricey, but we'll worth it!Parking: Parking shouldn't be an issue we were there at the rush and it was fine. It was packed and they Hussled to keep everyone happy and moving, but we never felt rushed or hurried. We will definitely be regulars!“

“food was okay.. the service was good even out was busy and then as it died down we were left behind for a little. It was otherwise okay.. I don’t know if it’s really a place where I would go back just because the food didn’t really stand out.“

“AWESOME burgers, and the sweet potato fries were delicious! Tucked away in a tiny Rathdrum shopping strip, it's a delightful surprise. We've been here before, more than a couple years ago and am happy to report Penny's has just gotten better! ?“

“Generous portions and well prepared meat!I visit CDA twice a month and I’ve tried several BBQ food trucks based upon reviews. This one definitely lives up the five star ratings. The 1/2 pound rack of ribs and 1/2 pound tri-tip were massive and smoked perfectly. Baked beans were excellent but just a little sweet for my taste. This BBQ was significantly better than others in the area because the meat was flavorful but not over seasoned. Staff was friendly and patient. I’m glad I tried it… it’s worth a visit.“

“It was tasty and service was great. Costly, but meat is more expensive now, so it was expected. It was very loud inside, literally hard to hear each other at the table kind of loud. Still, a good place for steakDietary restrictions: Gluten free options for my wife. Easy for her to eat here“

“Amazing food and staff. Burgers are always amazing, elk meatloaf is fantastic, can't go wrong with bacon, mac & cheese, eggrolls, and if you like pickles, then you need to try the fried pickle appetizer. With their ranch because their homemade ranch is amazing. They always have great monthly specials so you need to go in at least once a month and try something new.“

“Food was good. I had the mama t’s which has chicken parm on it. It was a little overcooked and under seasoned so I didn’t care for my food as much. My daughter had a kids burger and really loved her food. I’m willing to give it another shot. Overall great service. Lost points for atmosphere because the seats aren’t very comfortable to sit in for a long time.“

“Hadn't been here in over 15 years, since i was a little kid. It is exactly how I remembered in the best way. So simple and delicious. No "over the top" stuff, just a seriously good burger, seriously fast, and seriously cheap!“

“Food is great, place is clean and a very fun environment. Our daughter loves the trivia that is always on tv. BUT what makes this place phenomenal, is the service. These girls are SO much fun!! The blonde with bangs is the most amazing server and so entertaining. Totally caught myself dancing to the music like she was and getting caught up in her fabulous energy. We will continue coming in for the service alone. Everything else is a bonus.“

“While visiting some family, I was recommended Franklin's as the breakfast spot to visit. I was very happy with my meal at this cute little place.Grabbed some fresh OJ, eggs, sourdough toast, fruit, and their housemade sausage. Everything was delicious, but the sausage was the star of the meal. It had tons of flavor and seasoning. I was very impressed. My server was super friendly as well.I wish I lived in CDA so I could come back.“

“We have been regulars here for over a year and absolutely love it. It’s the perfect combo. Great drink, amazing food and cool atmosphere.I remember our first time and how intentional the manager Jared was. Even gave a free dessert cuz it was our first time. We kept coming and keep coming because of the awesome staff and managers.Best spot in Hayden for an amazing night out. And don’t forget the live music! When people ask me where to go for a night out my only answer is Parallel 47.“

“We ate here on a Friday night of valentines week. It was super busy so we sat at the bar. As busy as they were, they still made us feel like we were the most important people in the restaurant. The oysters, Brussels, salmon and duck were all so delicious and prepared perfectly. The bartender Jordan took the best care of us and a few members of the kitchen crew came out just to make sure everything was to our liking. Can't say enough good about this place and their team. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back for sure!“

“We've gone here many times and from my experience the food as always been great! I love the Red Bean and Chorizo Stew in particular. I enjoy the way the inside of the place looks BUT they can get pretty busy, so sometimes it definitely gets a little loud. The service has usually been friendly and helpful, but can also get pretty slow due to the busyness. Over-all, if you haven't tried it out I recommend eating in! Another pro, to me, is the location. If they have a +15 minute wait there's a pond right behind the building you can walk around or find a seat and hang out at.My BIGGEST CON personally was the phone service experience I had. We wanted to order for pickup and got the same things we always get when ordering in now. The lady on the phone seemed SO confused by... everything. She kept needing to put me on hold nearly between every question or order. They were particularly confused about bread, lol, which comes with the meal I was ordering. Lastly, I wanted to ease her confusion about the bread and said "its okay" when she asked me another question about it. Immediately after I said that she hung up instantly. No "goodbye, thank you!" Or "Your meal will be this much and we'll text you when its ready!" Nothing. Just hung up randomly. I assumed perhaps she thought I meant "its okay" about... the whole order? Anyways, we just got food elsewhere, but it was a bit of a bummer.I doubt she was trying to be rude, I think maybe she was new and they just didn't train her well. I can't say this will be the call in order experience for anyone else, but it might be worth it to just... dine in!“

“Great local neighborhood restaurant. It’s off the beaten path. Usually busy but not so busy that you can’t get in. Full bar menu, and crafted food menu that changes seasonally. In the warmer weather the covered porch and patio is the place to be. The rustic cabin building gives it a warm cozy feel for the winter. The corn pasta is awesome.“

“We visited Beverly's to celebrate our anniversary... We had a table reservation, arrived early so sat in the bar and immediately received a very warm welcome and positive energy from bartender Chris and from Cynthia... We enjoyed perfect ice cold martinis while we soaked in the gorgeous lake view... the bar staff was so nice, that when our table was ready, we chose to stay and dine in the bar as the chairs were low and comfortable and the views were outstanding. Upon ordering dinner, we started with a French Onion Soup and Beef Carpaccio that were both impeccable. The beef carpaccio was unique due to its dry aging and the French onion soup cooked to perfection to my liking as requested (extra golden on top). Even the bread service was delish... For our entree's, we shared the hot rock filet and holy cats it was a perfect medium and the presentation is outstanding with the fire-y creamy peppercorn demi-glaze poured over the steak and hot rock... We could cut the steak with a butter knife it was so tender... and flavorful... we also added a half pound of king crab legs which were fresh, blissful and hearty! As a sweet surprise, they added a handful of fresh rose pedals to our bar space in celebration of our anniversary. Throughout the evening, we truly enjoyed speaking with the bar staff, most notably, bartender Chris, who radiates with positive energy and loving vibes with a genuine heart... (ask him about his campground dream)... and Cynthia was lovely as well. A kind soul. From the moment we arrived, to hours later when we reluctantly left, we left with full bellies and even fuller hearts... Seriously, it was a wonderful experience we will not soon forget... Thank you so much for making our celebration special.“

“I think Capone’s is a good Rorschach test of people’s temperaments. If you don’t like it, you are likely experiencing an off night or being a bit of a ding-dong. If you like it, you are a local or a long-time customer who understands what it does, and doesn’t, do. If you love it, well, you are a fan. Good for you.I am a fan who likes it. Some items aren’t great. Others are amazing . . . for what they are described as being. The Idaho Nachos? Simple bar food that does exactly what it should. Some of the pizzas? Slightly different from what I am used to eating, but amazing when they slide onto the table. I wouldn’t drink wine here. But the beer selection is good.I find the servers to be generally amazing, especially considering the crowds with which they deal. I find the prices to be reasonable. I keep coming back. And I will continue to do so.Some of the negative reviews--and they are thankfully overshadowed by the positive four- and five-star reviews--read as if they were written by people with keyboards missing keys. Other read like bougie people showing their ‘know-it-all’ because this place is local or was featured on DDD. Others? Yeah, I am sure there have been misses here. It happens. Take a breath. Try it again. Then consider what you want to write. But knuckle-dragging your snot-negative reviews onto Google doesn’t make the world a better place. You also end up seeming like . . . well, you know.Capone’s is a great local place. It does what it suggests. It can be loud. It can be busy. But both of those things suggest why you should try it if you want a local hang that isn’t dripping in pretension.Recommended.“
“I've lived here for six years. Great drinks, wonderful bartender, I was seeing rainbows.. gave me the best of the finest over and over at a good price. The "wave to no one troll game" from the bartender was priceless. Change your music to modern edm/hiphop/ vibezzzzzz and I'll be there every weekend. Move your bar over and make a dance floor and I'll fill your building every weekend! Great place, turn it down soothe bartenders can hear drink requests and it's a banger for unicorn rainbow city “

“Capones has great pizza. It's always a bit noisy in the restaurant, but it is a sports bar! Their prices were a bit higher this time and blacked out on the menu, sixty dollars for a pitcher of beer and two med. pizzas, I don't think so!I realize the price of food everywhere has gone up, causing restaurants to pass that along to the customers to stay in business. Very frustrating to everyone.“

“Online order was ready when they said it would be, even though they were busy. Best sandwich in town! The regular is plenty big enough for one, grab the large for two people. Plenty of deli sides and options for everyone. You won’t be disappointed if you give this place a try.“

“Absolute hidden gem! Highly recommend the Philly cheese steak and the tots. Honestly.... We try to stop here Everytime we come through town. At first you might be skeptical thinking of gas station food, but it is all fresh made food and a clean little kitchen and the taste is divine! I wish we lived closer!“

“Had the chicken parm, would definitely recommend it. Hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. My girlfriend had the chicken Alfredo which was amazing too. Our server was nice but not quite on top of it, the lady who brought us our food was a rockstar though. The menus differs a bit from what you see online but they had most of the popular items.“

“A great experience for my family. We went for brunch. My mom is disabled and they were busy. The host took great care of her while waited for the table. The food was good. Definitely on the list for another brunch day idea.Parking: The lot was very full. We had to wait about 5 minutes for spots to open up.Kid-friendliness: Kids seemed welcome. I saw a few families. My group was all adults.Wheelchair accessibility: While it can feel like a tight fit, the Host goes out of his way to get people with disabilities comfortable.“

“The food menu used to be what we came for. Now, they've deleted the very items that made it worth it. The Reubens, the fish and chips, the taco salad to name a few. They HAD the best fries in town. And now they screwed that up and replaced with hand made fries. Soggy and burnt. We're bummed.“

“My friend an I had the Roosevelt Room and it was super cute with the lounge chair and armoire. The sun came in through the lace windows in the morning which made for a cozy start to the day. The garden around the house is so relaxing, I would have loved to spend more time hanging out there. We played some board games in the common space inside as well. Great location to access downtown and the lake. Highly recommend this location to stay.“

“My visit to Collective Kitchen in CDA delivered hands down, one of the best meals I've had. I could of closed my eyes and blindly pointed my finger to any of their amazing offerings and been blown away. Instead, we kept our eyes open and ordered Lamb lollipops for an app and Seafood Hotpot and Cottage pie. Delicious, up scale food that I would of payed twice what they charge. The service was was like it's own main course. Victoria took care of us from start to finish. What a personality!“
