“Nice local bakery I like to support. Pies are their strength, both fruit and cream pies. Fillings are plentiful and locally sourced. I hate to admit their rolls and bread items need improvement. Simply put, they taste as if they had no salt added. Bland. Salt is essential in order to make flavors really great. I don’t know why the lack of salt, but it’s why the rolls aren’t excellent.“

“I went for the second time 10/15 around 9pm and the lady was great! Patient, helpful, and had some good conversation. Wish I had gotten her name to add but she was fantastic. The cookies were great and we left with smiles on our faces. Great place to check out!“

“So yes, the cookies are absolutely amazing. So are the staff though. After they close up one of there crew uses there own time, late at night, to deliver extras that would have been tossed to local fire houses, ERs, what ever. Good food made by good people who bring a little surprise of joy to some hard working folks. Thank you!“

“Cookies are good, but not great. Service was great and fast. The place was very clean and spacious, but could use a couple of tables and chairs. The selection is always just six cookies. The prices are a bit expensive and personally, I only go there to please my wife when she has a sweet tooth…I’m a steak n potatoes type of guy. Not much more to say.“

“Bluesky Bagels is hands down the BEST hidden gem in town. Not only are the bagels fresh, soft, and ridiculously delicious, but the prices are unbeatable — where else can you snag two whole bags for around $3.50? 🤯 Every time I walk in, the place smells like heaven, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and I leave wondering why I ever bought bagels anywhere else. Honestly, grocery store bagels don’t even compare — these taste like they were made with actual love. 🥯💙 If you haven’t been here yet, do yourself a favor: stop what you’re doing and go. Your mornings (and your toaster) will thank you.“

“My daughter and I came here for the first time today. My daughter had a chocolate tart and I had a blackberry pistachio tart and lavender latte. Everything was excellent and not too sweet which is what I love about middle eastern desserts. We definitely plan to come here again“

“I get my indulgent weekend treats here nearly every week. The cinnamon rolls are awesome, of course, and I love that there is a massive range of toppings and frosting flavors to choose from--including fresh fruit and nuts, which help make these beasts a bit more nutritious--but my favorite item is actually the chocolate chip cookies ? They are so perfect it makes me feel like I may as well give up baking, lol. Earlier this year I ordered the cinnacake for a special occasion, and it was a total showstopper! Absolutely delicious and easily serves 12 people with big servings, or twice that with reasonable servings. You get to pick your toppings, so you can customize it to the occasion, too. Another favorite of mine is the Cookie Monster Roll. Getting cookie dough on top of a cinnamon roll is one of the most indulgent things you can do, and Cinnaholic nails it perfectly. The only downside to Cinnaholic is not many of the seasonal items are listed on food delivery apps. I always want to try them all but rarely get the chance, since I live far enough away that it's not worth it to spend an hour+ driving, parking, walking, ordering, waiting, eating, and then getting home, just for dessert. All in all, I highly recommend giving Cinnaholic a try if you're looking for a sweet treat that's worth every calorie! Updated from previous review on 2023-11-14“

“I recently ordered my baby's first birthday cake from this talented lady, along with Cupcakes and Cake pops! I couldn't be happier! Everything was not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious. Every layer was moist and flavorful, and it was evident that she uses high-quality ingredients. Beyond the amazing treats, the baker was an absolute pleasure to work with—so kind and accommodating. I highly recommend her for any special occasion!“

“Very polite and understanding staff, even when you accidentally try to pay with your costco ID. I would recommend ordering in and having an artistic latte while you take in the shop. This is a great place to meet friends, go on a first date, do homework, or be solitary and read a book.
Vegetarian options: Mainly parties, one or two breakfast sandwiches.
Dietary restrictions: They offer milk alternatives and gluten-free pastries (I have never had these, so I can not speak to the tastel
Parking: This is the middle of downtown Boise, so parking is difficult during the week, but it is very walkable/bikeable if you are somewhere downtown
Wheelchair accessibility: The building follows ADA regulations, but the floor layout does not allow ease of accessibility during peak times. This is probably the only negativity I have about this location“

“I love Acme Bakeshop! Their sourdough bread is my favorite - fluffy and delicious. I frequently buy loaves at the Co-Op and they are always high quality. I have also gone through the bakery for their holiday orders and the process was easy with no issues for pick-up. Their ciabatta rolls and cranberry sourdough loaf are amazing seasonal items I love having at family gatherings during the holidays. I'm happy I get to support a local business that consistently bakes the best bread!“
