“I recently visited Acme Bakeshop, and it exceeded all my expectations. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warm aroma of freshly baked goods and a welcoming atmosphere. Everything I tried—from the soft, buttery croissants to the rich, flavorful cakes—was absolutely delicious and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. It’s rare to find a place that gets both taste and service so right. I’ll definitely be coming back—highly recommended!“

“We went here for breakfast multiple days while visiting Boise. This place was amazing! The food, the staff, all amazing!! The price is a little higher for breakfast but the portions are huge and can easily feed 2 people. They even gladly split meals onto separate plates. Also get the OJ, fresh squeezed and great! Can’t believe it but I’m going to say that breakfast here was our best meal the entire time we were in Boise!“

“I’ve eaten here twice and I’m transported to local bars in Europe that sell tortillas and serve a variety of digestiffs. I love the indie vibe with good music and locals. What stands out is the robust beer menu with n/a’s.
The tortillas with the pimentos is delicious and there must be a new chef because the food tastes like it got a major flavor upgrade. The tortilla soup was filled with flavor and the shredded chicken had a nice pulled pork feel to it thst just melted in the soup. The bread is always delicous to dip and my salad and dressing complimented the juicy and think chorizo that packed flavor and spices. The grilled peppers and the bread was a flavor bomb of deliciousness. The lamb soup was equally great and I loved how all of these dishes complimented each other. I never thought the n/a porter would go good with the meal but it did. The fried balls (I forget the name) were the star of the meal and the buttery, fried goodness would have complimented a nice red wine.
Service was top notch and the servers provided a Boise stellar service that I’ve been raving about in my posts. I love how this bar had locals and locals having fun. I’ll be returning. This time to retry the shishito peppers since they are out.“

“It’s a very quaint little place. I have been ordering takeout for over 12 years. They have added several new items to their menu. The “works” pizza is phenomenal. Huge and delicious!!! And then recently they added baked chicken wings. The garlic and Parmesan are the ultimate. The very best we have ever eaten. They also have a lunch special from noon to 3 p.m. for $5.99. Be sure and check it out!! The staff are super friendly.

My son took us to celebrate my birthday. What a wonderful experience. The service was impeccable. The food was extraordinary. Four people, two appetizers, four different entrees and two desserts. Everything was spot on, delicious.
The pace of the service is remarkable. Very attentive, yet relaxed, never felt rushed. We could actually hear each other and share conversation as we broke bread together. The wine library is a nice touch. The ambiance is very romantic. Perfect for date night or a nice family dinner. I really can't say enough, no notes. True fine dining.

Like most pizza chains, Pizza Twist uses frozen, pre-formed dough. Known for using locally sourced ingredients and premium quality GMO-free meat, Pizza Twist offers traditional and Indian-influenced pizzas. They have Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Egg-Free, and Halal options On 7/1/23, I tried Pizza Twist in Boise for the first time. I ordered a small Spicy Lamb Kabob pizza ($13.99), which is a customer favorite. Spicy Lamb Kabob pizza has their signature Tandoori sauce, fresh diced mozzarella cheese, sliced lamb, crisp red onions, spicy jalapeno, juicy pineapple, fresh diced; garlic, ginger, and green chilies, garnished with fresh cilantro. My experience at Pizza Twist exceeded my expectations! The service was excellent even though they were very busy the night I visited. Owner Raj took my order. He asked how spicy I wanted my pizza. I told him that I like spicy food and asked him to make me the Pizza the way he would, if making it for himself. My pizza was ready to go in about 20 minutes. My pizza was still hot when I got home, which is about a 10 minute drive. The pizza crust was unremarkable, but the flavor combination of the toppings was outstanding! I wouldn’t normally order pizza with pineapple, but the sweetness of the pineapple paired perfectly with the lamb and spicy jalapeño. I understand why the Spicy Lamb Kabob is a customer favorite. It’s unlike any pizza I’ve ever had, with a unique combination of flavors that is downright addictive. I would definitely order it again. Next, I would like to try the Butter Chicken pizza. Highly Recommended!!!“

“Navigating the Construction for a Bodacious Reward 🐷🐷🐷 Today, I had a lunch meeting at Bodacious Pig Barbecue, and we were determined to get there despite the construction on Old State Street. The road work is a bit of a mess, but it’s a small price to pay to support a local business that has been an Eagle staple since 2013. The restaurant, located directly in the heart of the construction zone in front of the Old State Saloon, is a prime example of a business persevering through difficult times. Stepping inside, the aroma of slow-smoked barbecue instantly makes you forget the detours and road closures outside. We wanted to show our support and encourage others to do the same. If you're deciding where to eat this week or weekend, please make the effort to visit them. A little bit of effort on our part goes a long way in supporting the local businesses that make Eagle great.“

“The experience here was amazing! We ordered online, I walked in and said our name, it was ready and waiting right there for me. I turned around and went home. When I got there, my wife and I put the kids to bed and spent time together before having dinner. When we opened it we were in for a big surprise! “We sat on the patio, which is dog friendly and quite nice. This was the first time at this location and I chose it for Fathers Day (2026). The food was quite good, I had the Grilled Salmon Pasta, my wife had the Base Camp Salad, with Salmon. The salmon was grilled to my tastes, and was quite good. The pasta was tasty, but I could have done with less of the kale (just my taste). My wife enjoyed her dish.
The service was great, (I forgot the waiters name) very attentive, took well care of us and other customers.
30 years ago I lived in the east end, but never came to this location. In general the atmosphere is quite nice, shady, a nice water feature as well. The whole place could use a little updating, but overall, very nice. Despite being off Parkcenter Blvd. the noise level is quite low, easy to talk with gusts. We will be back if we're in the area.
Despite what I said regarding some updating, I give it 5 Stars for the the aspects.“

“We ordered our food online which was over forty minutes late from delivery alone. The food was not the greatest because it got really cold from the delivery. We contacted the restaurant though and they were very understanding and awesome. They gave us a refund.
