“My wife and Ihad dinner here. The wait staff was friendly and very attentive. I had a jalapeno bacon burger. My wife had a portobello mushroom swiss burger. Some fry cooks are too fast frying burgers. Fat Clarence is not. The burger patties had a wonderful carmalization. They used fresh jalapeno medallions!! Amazing food!!....”

The food arrived hot and was super tasty, with just the right amount of spicyness. I ordered the Mar y Tierra, each meat was delicious, there is no way to pick a favorite. “My wife and recently got married and had them catered. First we went to the restaurant and ordered some tacos to try. The wait staff was super friendly and the restaurant was clean and quiet. We ordered what we needed for the party and they went above and beyond for us. They delivered and served. Food was delicious and got many compliments from our guests about the quality of the food. Beans and rice were seasoned great with some of the best hot sauce I’ve have had. I highly recommend El Sombrero for your next event or even lunch. Super professional and delicious food, couldn’t have asked for more.”

Looking around the restaurant its full of the hard working people that know what Mexican food should tastes like…and like an amazing value. My wife and I ate off the lunch menu, I had the Taco salad ($5.99) and my wife had something delicious for $7.99. Lunch for $13.76. Unreal! Delicioso!”

“We are from Michigan and my son got married in Brea. I contacted LA Ideal bakery about doing tres leches cakes for the wedding. Not only were they extremely helpful and kind, the cakes were delicious (the best I've ever had) and absolutely beautiful. Great attention to detail. Soany guests complomented how good the cake was. Julie was very easy to communicate with and offered a lot of suggestions. Take your business here. We will definitely stop in next time we are in California and try more goodies from here.”
