“If someone were to ask me what is Dos Bros like,I would say that it is similar in concept to Chipolte, but better and a little bit cheaper. I live in Nashville where don't have any locations. I am hoping they will open here soon. The locations in Jackson and Shelbyville were clean with pleasant staff and excellent service. Highly recommend. Additionally I recommended Dos Bros to a friend who lives in Shelbyville. She and her son both loved it.“

They do sell out, so go early. One Sunday, I went at 11:30, no carnitas for me. I asked when I should get there to have some assurance of getting some, and the person said, honestly 9. So the next week, I went at 9.“

“We were out shopping and didn't want to stop and ruin the shop till you drop vibe but we were starving and a drive thru wouldn't cut it but both agreed a quick taco or quesadilla would hit the spot. We decided on Taco Dale since we'd never had it before, it was a Friday night and again wanted something quick. Our initial thought or plan was (as it usually is) was to just get it to go and eat in the car and keep shopping.... we went in and ordered a cheese quesadilla and a steak quesadilla I asked if they could cut them in half (so we could split them) to let us each try both. They come with pico, guac, and crema. We didn't get the pico - just guac and crema. The girl was easily accommodating. As we were waiting for the order we quickly realized it may be greasy and we should probably stay and just eat it there. Once we got the order we told them we were going to stay and Christian was extremely accommodating and kind - he brought us chips, salsa, hot and mild sauce and drinks since we weren't going to initially stay. He also kept checking on us to see if we needed anything as well. Christian was also very kind and friendly to the other patrons that came in as well. The menu is abundantly full, there is something for everyone and the menu can be easily accommodating if needed. The ladies were very kind as well (I didn't get any names though I'm sorry). The restaurant itself was clean, warm and inviting. It is also ADA accessible. We will definitely be returning customers.“

“Los Cuates (formerly Chololua’s Kitchen) has a classic, no-frills setup that works for a casual meal out. Inside, there’s one long table that’s perfect for a bigger group, one round table that fits about six, a handful of smaller four-seaters, and around six booths that also seat four each.

The place definitely has a worn-in feel. The bathroom could use some attention, and a few of the booth seats are ripped—just small things that could use a refresh. That said, the atmosphere feels like your typical middle-class Mexican restaurant: homey, casual, and relaxed.

They start you off with chips and salsa, and they actually use some nice, dense wheat tortillas that feel a bit more authentic than your usual fare. It’s a nice touch.

We ordered a sope, a couple of tostadas, and some steak tacos. Presentation across the board was solid, and more importantly, everything tasted great. The flavors were on point, and you can tell it’s good traditional Mexican food—especially when you see local Mexican families dining here too.

Service was friendly and attentive, and there was Mexican music playing in the background that added to the vibe.

Overall, it’s a solid spot with tasty food and welcoming people. If they put a little effort into maintaining the space—especially the bathrooms and seating—it would really elevate the whole experience. Still, it’s worth a visit for the food and the warm service.“

“Came here only because we were in the area. Took a chance and we are glad we did. The food was above par. The service was on point. The place was very clean. We tried the chicken tacos & White rice. Also we had the siete tipos de mariscos. This was a good stop.“

“First time at Rito’s on a sunday evening. Very casual and laid back. We were seated quickly and served complimentary chips and salsa. FYI, red salsa is spicy! We ordered a side of guacamole to have with our chips. Delicious and fresh! We ordered medium frozen margaritas and a sangria. The margaritas are potent! I had the Mayan Combination with chicken for dinner. The burrito was huge and I had enough to eat for dinner the next day. My meal was seasoned well, not too salty or spicy. For dessert the four of us shared fried ice cream with churros. Will definitely be back for the margaritas….and some food as well!!“

The Tlcayuda was 18 dollars, and the huarache was 10 dollars ,I ordered 3 of the steak. For three people, I ended pending about $73 dollars. Overall, it's not a bad place , but prices are steep.“

“We had a really amazing experience as a family. The menu has been revamped under the new management. Good food, good music, good service, and great atmosphere for the entire family.

I recommend El Festin, good food, good music, and good atmosphere. We enjoyed a very pleasant time as a family. The restaurant has been remodeled and has more options on the menu. Everyone is very friendly and attentive.“

“For a little seafood shack right next to the apartment complex, they present such wonderful signature dishes.
Whether it's for the sushi (ate before photo, sorry) or the Stuffed Coconut (Cocoa Rellano). I just love trying out their signature dishes. They are so fascinating to see either on your table or order for take-out.

Will come back again for the Pina Rallena! (Stuffed Pineapple) and with a better Spanish vocabulary! Se un poco español...

“I have been coming to this location for 17 years and order a torta every time. It is by far the best torta I've ever had, which is why I'm such a loyal customer. My kids love the torta's as well as the tacos and quesadilla's. The staff is absolutely wonderful and that has never changed throughout the years.
