“I don't usually try new coffee, because sometimes when I go to new places it tastes watery and bitter... but THAT WAS NOT THE CASE here. We just moved here about a year ago and we haven't tried many places, I sent my boyfriend to get coffee earlier here for the first time and this is probably the best coffee i have had in a very long time. I got the christmas cookie latte and you can taste the flavor very good without it being overwhelming, and the coffee is the right amount! This might be my new favorite place lol. We will definitely be going here from now on!! I definitely recommend.”

“I love this place!!!I grew up near here. But had traveled to Breese from Edwardsville to pick up some glasses from Clarkson. Placed my order, and apparently you pay when picking up. Found out at the window that they only take cash. They did tell me an ATM was across the street. I never use an ATM and don’t have a pin number So, I counted up all the change in my car and I had six dollars and some change I asked, how much would it be to take off one of the hamburgers and a fry so they said just a minute and came back to The window and saidhow much do you have? It was 12 something and I had six dollars and some change. They said that’s fine. Just go ahead. Very nice people !!! So, next time I come to breese, I will be giving them back their six dollars I owe, and eating here again because the hamburgers are fabulous. Also love the outdoor seating and atmosphe. Takes me back to a simpler time. Thank you you, Wally’s! See ya next time. You must try this place!!”

“We ate here for the 1st time tonight, and WOW! We ordered the garlic parmesean traditional wings. Hands down the best wings in the area. Then we ordered Joe's pizza with thin crust.....sooooo good! The staff was so attentive. Our server Amy was amazing. can't wait to go back!”

“I moved to Highland back in July of 2023. Recently got a job in town and recommended by my boss stopped in to Michael’s coffee shop. Had the best experience! Was not rushed she answered all of my questions and even asked if I would try my specialty drink before I left to make sure I liked it! My drink was perfect and their lemon blueberry muffin was delicious! 10/10 recommend this place and will definitely be going back. I wish I would have gotten her name but she gets 100/10 on providing amazing customer service!”

“It’s just a terrific bar and grill. The flattop grill is so well seasoned, the burgers are delicious. Chili is great but only available in cooler/cold months. Sloppy Joes in warm weather. If you’re nearby, it’s a must-do dining experience.”

“The ice cream is delicious! Some unique flavors too! The employees are really really nice. They will have conversations and joke with you if you start talking. The place is full of bright colors and replicas of cakes. There are no chairs or tables inside but there are plenty on the square. They have little cups and cones filled with what I think is clay to show you what your ice cream with look like. They are definitely not stingy with how much ice cream they give you. Nor the toppings. :) They give you punch cards too! Definitely recommend if your in the mood for ice cream.

Dietary restrictions: Don't eat if your lactose intolerant. I think they have gluten free ones if i remember correctly.

Kid-friendliness: Just like you would expect, it's great for kids. It's ice cream!”

Every guest got to leave with their very own work of art. All we had to do was show up, and they took care of the rest. Everyone had an amazing time! “I am guessing new kitchen staff. Second week in a row- My to go order tonight was over an hour and 10 minute wait. I was told 35 minutes only to show up and no order slip ever made it to the kitchen. I ordered pollo Jalisco which was correct, steak soft taco - wrong- no cheese or lettuce. Chicken chimichanga- not right either- not shredded chicken. And no beans - I asked for no salad and all I got was rice and salad. This is second week in a row that food from kitchen was cold and not produced in a timely manner. What is happening there?”
