Choc Chip scone is delicious; good texture, plenty of chips and excellent tasting. Also purchased cinnamon roll. After heating, just incredible! Frosting super delish, dough was great. Anxious to go back, would like to try cupcakes, empanadas and pie. Store is super cute!!! Also, the owner/manager was at an event, not at store today. However, family member there (Mom I think). The Portion size feels like it is nearly double what you get at chipotle. Obviously, this is an Asian style bowl place and the amount of toppings that they have is absolutely incredible. All the veggies are super fresh and they have great sauce. My son loves the mango chill drink. I had a zipper too, and it is a really tasty super thick mango drink.“

“Bluegrass Restaurant is a wonderful, family-owned restaurant. We have been ordering takeout and eating in since we came to Highland Park three years ago. The owners take pride in managing the restaurant on a daily basis. They prioritize customer service, great food, and a warm, welcoming experience. Last night, they hosted the Highland Park/Highwood Professional Moms group. We had only expected 15 women to attend, but 25 women ended up coming. The owners and the staff were AMAZING. They brought over additional chairs. They provided us with top-notch service, including separate checks. They respected us when we were speaking to the group and quietly took orders in the background. I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant.“

“I have been in this restaurant for more than 4 times. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of parking. Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. I kept going back and i know when i leave, my tummy is full, content and some take home left overs. Check their menu. Check the big breakfast meal. You can't go wrong with their reasonable prices. The cooking here has seriously degraded in quality since 2022. Talk about flavorless! It wasn't that way just a little bit ago.

Service is still great but tipping 25% is loopy.

The place is clean and, other than for the poor cooking, well operated. Parking is still rough on weekends.“

“Absolutely love this restaurant. We had brought a tray of lasagna to a party years ago and had nothing but rave reviews. We moved down to FL 7 years ago so it’s been awhile since we have been able to eat here. We bought another tray of lasagna this weekend for a party. Let me tell you…it was so delicious! We are still hearing people rave about it and hope it brings new customers your way. Your GF ravioli was awesome as well. Great food, wonderful customer service, cute restaurant. “Its a great place if you are looking for great tacos that is no nonsense. Place is inside the little Mexican grocery store and has three tables, doesn't look the prettiest but it is a great place. Reminds me of great taco joints in Cd. Juarez. Prices were great too. Food was made fresh because when I got my tacos and they were so hot I couldn't hold them long. Chicken tacos were excellent. Easily coming back here.“

The only downside is everybody knows about it so the lines are typically pretty long. If you come during peak time it might be a good 30 to 40 minutes before you get seated and the parking lot might be full. It is also very kid friendly so expect it to be loud and sometimes with crying children.“
