“Had a great dining experience! Our server, Kelsey, was great. Our first time going to a restaurant with our little one. He has egg and peanut allergies and Kelsey went above and beyond to ensure the food we ordered didn’t have these allergens. The staff was very accommodating and the food was delicious. I ordered the corned beef. Fries were good and they have a nice selection of beer. Thank you Kelsey for making our first time eating out a great experience!“

“We went out for the Friday fish fry.
The fish was great, large lightly breaded.
The fish was not heavily seasoned but it went well with the tartar sauce.
There wasn't much fries and because they were under the fish the fries got soggy.“

“Dead End is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Sherry/Wilbur is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Amazing pizza. Must come back. 10/10.“

“I had a chance to swing in last week and it's a nice, comfortable setting. The food was excellent if you are interested in Austrian/German bites. The people working here were super nice compared to similar tyes of places in the area. They even had a 50% off beer special going on! I will be returning for sure.“

“Alley 64 has a great menu, a fun an accommodating staff! We had a semi-surprise party in their back room! They were so helpful, let us set up early, refrigerated a cake for us, had appetizers out super quick! There was probably about 40 of us and the bartenders/waiters were awesome… it was a huge success! Definitely think of Alley 64 for a group/party options!“

“live just down the street from Lamp Lighters, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite local spots. The food is always excellent—fresh, flavorful, and consistently satisfying no matter what you order. The atmosphere feels friendly and comfortable, like a true neighborhood gem.
A special mention goes to Amber, who’s not only incredibly attentive and professional but also genuinely kind and welcoming every time I stop in. She makes the experience even better with her great energy and warm personality.
If you’re in Palatine and haven’t been to Lamp Lighters yet, you’re missing out on one of the best local places around!“

“We have live in the area for a while now and always meaning to stop in.
Saturday (5/30) my wife and I and another couple finally made it, just for drinks as we were coming for dinner.
Atmosphere and the crowd was great, everyone friendly and very welcoming.
The best part was the prices, each one of us had 3-5 drinks and the bill came to only $35, this has to be the most reasonably priced bar in the area, and we weren’t drinking draft beer, mixed drinks and the ladies had some wine.
Fantastic place, we will be back!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a great experience at Docks Bar & Grill. The service was excellent, the food was good, and everything came out fast. We also really enjoyed the conversations with the bartenders — friendly, welcoming, and genuinely engaging. I mentioned that I appreciated the TVs being on the same channel, because when multiple screens are on different channels, the flickering lights can be overwhelming for me. I’m disabled and live with Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD) and CPTSD, along with chronic migraines. The sunglasses I wear help reduce light sensitivity from LEDs and neon lighting, and the staff was kind, open, and understanding when I explained this. It meant a lot to be treated with respect and curiosity rather than judgment. The bartender was friendly, approachable, and handled the conversation with warmth and professionalism. Great atmosphere, great people, and a place that makes you feel welcome. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Always a great experience. Glad to see JoLyn (sp?) & Kim working together recently. They're the best team! Excellent bands w/great speakers. Hear it loud nearby or sit further away/upstairs for background tunes.
Arrive early on weekends for best parking.
Grateful for additional access trailers; women's bathroom faucet needs immediate updating for better function & to lessen slippery floor as water sprays out, instead of down (& has for years). :/“

“I just flew into ohare from Europe, and this place was the first meal I had back home. And how lovely it was! The chimichurri bowl was absolutely DELECTABLE and so was the steak melt! Our waitress was incredibly sweet, she made us feel so welcome!“
