I was amazed at how much delicious flavor they packed into my burrito and philly steak.. definitely a top burrito joint in country, for me.. likr top 1 or 2.. im a truck driver, and have eaten at Mexican reataurants all over the country.. and this place will be on my to-do list, now, when Im in Chicago area. “Love this place. I've been here a few times. The hot chicken sandwich, nachos, and fries are always great. This most recent visit I tried a double smashburger with smash peppers, spicy chopped cheese, and onion rings. The burger was probably the best smashburger I ever had, the beef and bun tasted really fresh, burger patties were crispy and seasoned, and the sauce went really well with it. The chopped cheese was really good, and onion rings were crispy, hot, and seasoned. Highly recommend this place. Everything I've had there is good.“

“I had an amazing experience at Dua. I ordered a steak with a side of mashed potatoes and a drink. It was a meal to remember.

It’s hard to find good halal steak nowadays, especially at a good price.

The food was cooked perfectly to my liking and our server, Sam, was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated and was quite inviting.

“I just stopped in for lunch carryout, and I am beyond impressed. I picked up a chicken tikka masala rice bowl with a side of chicken samosas and sat down to eat -- the meal became the highlight of my work day.

The rice bowl came with more than enough food to bring some of it home to the family. I didn't offer any inputs on spice level or anything, and it came out with an excellent combination of proper heat and flavor; love was found in every spoon, and I can't wait to try more from their menu. The samosas are deliciously savory and have a nice crisp to them, and come with a sweet sauce that pairs very well. Their prices surprised me! ~$16 for enough food for two people!

A couple of minor points: the biryani would benefit from a saalna or gravy accompaniment, and the masala coating on the tava fish fry felt slightly thick or caked on. Otherwise, enjoyable meal.“

A burger joint in a strip mall doesn’t inspire confidence, but you walk into this cozy place, with attractive wall murals, and somehow you get the feeling that you’re in the right place. We were in a rush, so came here for a quick lunch - ordered the following: double cheeseburgers, peri peri burgers, veggie samosa burger (off menu) and mango habañero wings….and EVERYTHING was fantastic!!! The double cheeseburgers were juicy, and succulent, the peri peri grilled chicken burger was tender and saucy, the wings were absolutely delicious, crisp despite the mango habañeeo sauce which had the perfect level of sweet heat. Lastly, the veggie burger - so the menu has FANTASTIC samosas, so when we asked if they had a veggie burger, they told us they can prepare a delicious burger using their veggie samosa. Imagine our skepticism, and then our utter shock, when it turned out to be the most delicious spicy, saucy samosa burger we have ever sunk our teeth in! Overall, an excellent experience, but with all the personnel exuding immense warmth and gracious hospitality. Definitely coming here OVER and OVER again!!! Yum!“

The owner did the cooking and we even learned a few words of Arabic with his help! Shkran! The location is tricky to find as the restaurant is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall on Cumberland Avenue. We live in the northern suburbs, but were in the Norridge area on business. We might even travel to Bab al Salam for no reason at all! There is plenty of casual seating and many people stopped in for take out. Enjoy!“

The owner came over to our table and introduced himself and was very cordial and we had a smiling exchange. He came back again after we had a chance to sample our dinner to see that all was ok.
