They always make it a special night. we were greeted with anniversary hospitality by not only the hostess, but our server, 2 other servers and the chef! This truly made our night! “So far I’ve eaten at Vasco’s twice with my coworker. The food is delicious. It is perfectly spiced, chicken is cooked to perfection and not dry. The garlic sauce is very tasty. It is very clean. The people working there are extremely nice and helpful. My coworker doesn’t know much about Indian food so she had a lot of questions. They were patient and answered all of the. The owner came to our table both times we were there to ask how things were. It is a place that you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We are already planning our next visit.“

Vegetarian options: Depends on how strict a vegetarian. It is authentic Greek cuisine, so there are many seafood options. Strict vegetarians will be limited to roasted vegetables and hummus dishes, but they will try their best to accommodate.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free dishes are labeled on the menu, but I don't think this is a totally gluten free kitchen with separate prep and cooking areas.

Parking: Large self parking lot that can overflow into other parking areas.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of families with children dine here. Many options on a children's menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: Large dining area with good access to move around, including the washrooms. Very little floor transitions (bumps or steps) unless one is going to back private dining rooms.“

I’m a full time working mom, and my parents who watch my baby while I work said the only payment they need is a box of broken tart pastries! Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. I kept going back and i know when i leave, my tummy is full, content and some take home left overs. Check their menu. Check the big breakfast meal. You can't go wrong with their reasonable prices. “Hi View will always hold a special place in my heart. My husband has been taking me here for nearly 10 years, and he has been going since long before that. I’ve never had a dish here I don’t like. My favorite things from here are the soups (specifically the cream of chicken rice and French Onion) and the chopped steak breakfast with chocolate chip pancakes. Their pancakes are the BEST ever and I swear by that.
The servers are extremely kind and always interact with regulars. When I was on a liquid diet prior to and after abdominal surgery, they were kind enough to strain soups for me so I could still have something to enjoy. They take care of you like family and that’s why I’ll always support Hi View.

“A small, korean BBQ restaurant in a strip mall on Mt Prospect. We were greeting right away and sat at your table. The tables are separated and private from others. The servers was attentive and took our order quickly. Bottled water is sevred with every meal. We ordered the meat and seafood combo ( steak, chicken, shrimp, and squid) which it comes with a lot of meat. You get a dumping soup that was very filling. The meat is very well seasoned and cooks nicely on the grill. The side dishs were very good. I didnwish they had korean potatoe salad as one of the sode doshes. At the end they also give you ice cream bars. The food and service were amazing. The only negative thing I can say is that it does get smokey inside the restaurant. I definitely recommend coming here and will visit again myself.“

“Recently celebrated a 70th birthday with the D'Alexander family. What a great event. The staff could not have been nicer, and attentive. You only thought you might need something at the table and it would appear out of no where. The food was all home made and you could tell made from traditional old recipes and a lot of love thrown in. You feel like you are in a small cafe in Italy.
