“Estimados encargados de El Solazo: Espero este mensaje les encuentre bien. Me dirijo a ustedes como un cliente frecuente y admirador de su restaurante, en el cual siempre disfruto de una comida deliciosa y un servicio excepcional. Sin embargo, en mi última visita, experimenté una situación que considero importante señalar para su atención y mejora. El día de hoy, martes 26 de noviembre, llegué a cenar a las 8:45 pm confiando en la información publicada en sus redes sociales, donde claramente se especifica que el horario de cierre es a las 11:00 pm. No obstante, a las 9:30 pm ya se estaba anunciando el "último llamado" para bebidas alcohólicas. Además, durante mi estancia, fui testigo de cómo dos familias fueron rechazadas para cenar por el mismo motivo: el restaurante estaba cerrando antes de tiempo debido a "la falta de clientes". Entiendo que puedan surgir situaciones operativas, pero considero que este tipo de decisiones impacta negativamente en la experiencia de sus clientes. Cuando se anuncia un horario de cierre, los clientes planeamos nuestras visitas en base a esa información. De no ser posible mantener el horario anunciado, sería más transparente ajustarlo oficialmente en sus plataformas para que las personas puedan planear con anticipación y, en caso necesario, optar por otras opciones. Por último, quiero mencionar que esta inconformidad fue compartida con nuestra mesera, quien nos escuchó con amabilidad. Sin embargo, creo que esta situación requiere un ajuste desde la gerencia para evitar malentendidos en el futuro. Agradezco de antemano su atención a esta situación y espero que se tomen las medidas necesarias para garantizar que su excelente servicio sea consistente en todos los aspectos. “Get a taste of downtown without the drive. Had a GREAT time here tonight. Great whiskey selection, friendly people, great live band. Can't wait to get back! The owner made us feel like family. Totally refreshing experience.“

“Our first visit to 14 Parish certainly won’t be our last! It’s the best meal we’ve had in Chicago in a while. The cocktails were creative and delicious and the wings and jerk salmon were perfectly cooked. Great service and ambience as well.“

This is a Bar-B-Q place and they do not issue receipts. I asked for a receipt 3 times; the first 2 times because I thought she didn't hear me. Then I learned I was ignored because she just looked at me.“

Long wait on the drinks but worth it. Ample seating. .. nice heated outdoor section to continue the party on. Do your best with the parking. Good times“

“Visited from STL and this time the owner was there. Very chill laid back good time. This particular night they had karaoke, which was fun. The bartenders are friendly and know how to pour. Shavon kept the drinks coming! The owner is hands on, friendly professional and made sure to show us out of towners hospitality. After a few dances and drinks we ordered food to go. This spot is always on a list even if it’s a short visit. Stop by for a mature crowd and a good time.“

“My friend celebrated her birthday there, it was okay I mean the club is a great vibe but the staff didn't make us feel all that welcomed, they just started at us most of the time but when other ppl came in they were attentive there's a man that walks around very intrusively looking at your table for I guess garbage and just tak6e it off the table no excuse me or waiting until you're done with your food, I didn't purchase any food I just had a long island ice tea which was watered down 👎🏾. The best thing was the DJ JE IS AWESOME 😎👍🏾✌🏾🫶🏾 FR 📢 I WOULDNT HAVE A PAETY THERE BUT TO EACH THEIR OWN I RESPECT THAT. AT THE LIKE 15 MINUTES TILL OUR ENDING TINE AR 10BPM THEY STARTED HOVERING AROUND ALMOST LIKE PUSHING US OUT IR REMINDING US OF OUR TIME I JUST DIDNT LIKE IT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT GOOD AT ALL THEY ALL NEED TO BE CRITIQUED ON HOW TO BE MIRE FRIENDLY ESPECIALLY WITH THEIR PRICES FR.“

“It was a quiet night in there. We sat at the bar and got a couple cocktails each and shared a few plates. Was impressed with all. Yumm. Surprised to see this only have 4.1 stars while being so elevated.. drinks n food were anything but ‘bar food’. Class. Loved it.“

“We were a pretty large group with tons of kids under 5. Everyone was so kind to us and our kiddos. The food was delish as were the drinks! We had a minor hiccup with in the group and management was MORE THAN gracious and kind in fixing / making up for it.“

Update after second visit: the Cesar salad is likely the best I have ever had in my life. How do I make my homemade caesar dressing taste like that? Also, the staff are truly so great.“

“Live bands and stepper sets every Sunday about 5 o'clock til 9 or later. Always a mature crowd. Drinks are affordable the whole day but happy hours are anytime before 4 or 5 in which everything goes up $1 after. It's a Harold's next door and skyway bowling across the street that has another restaurant inside if needed.“

“This was my Family’s first time here, and we celebrated Thanksgiving. Jessica was our waitress. She did an excellent job and service to 9 of us. We also thanked her for coming in on a Holiday, with a great attitude. The food was delicious and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Thanks to the hostess who gave us a warm welcome.“
