“Let's face it it's a Mr Sub or a Midway Sub all in all it's all the same old sub or pork sandwiches or pork submarine sandwich places where the meat is what it is not so real but just passes for being some sort of meat.. let's be honest here it's not what you call the quality meat that you would get at a deli. It's a great sandwich when you really want to eat something with a lot of calories and sloppy oil and vinegar and mayonnaise especially when you're looking to cheat on your diet or if you're drunk at 3:00 in the morning.. the only thing that's great about it is the real Italian bread is really and for some reason the oil and vinegar really complements the bread and then it complements the subpar atrocious meat or tuna or whatever your sandwiches is. The prices are very fair not like it is today at Subway where Subway's prices are out of the realm of costly, so you save money here and let's face it you get your basic flaky lettuce and your subpart tomatoes and onions and then you get your subpar meets basically that's what you're getting but again it's still a good bread, I can't understand how the bread is so good at these sub or Mr sub or Midway Sub or Port submarine places, and this one used to be a mistress sub but they changed the name years ago but it's all the same. The fountain drinks are really good just enough syrup in drinks, you won't get that at 7-11 LOL.“

“I drive all the way from Darien to get there sandwich. Started going there 45 years ago and then I moved and came back and the original location was closed and I thought that was it. About 5 years ago while on Facebook I saw and add for Peppo’s. I was thrilled to know that they simply moved. Best sub sandwich you will find. I love subs and no one beats peppos“

I had a “basic” turkey sandwich but it was so dang good that she must have made it with love and some secret ingredients because it doesn’t even make sense how good it tasted. I got it will all of the toppings and the turkey was actually juicy and flavorful. Same with the Reuben ($2 off on Tuesdays). Husband said it was the best Rueben of his life (I tried it and agree). Instead of eating in the overpriced food court at the museum, hop over and support this local place instead. You will not regret it!“

“Had a taste for a mall cheesesteak and decided to give this location a try. I ordered online and was advised 15 minites, I showed up within 20 minutes, and my food was hot and ready. The cheese steak was very good, thin meat, fresh condiments, and soft bread, and I really enjoyed the thinly sliced pickles. I also ordered wings that were well sauced and a very nice size for chicken wings. The service was nice as well. I will definitely be back. Went in a few weeks prior to try the sandwiches since I had never had them before and the staff was super nice, even gave me free samples of their salads to try along with my sandwich orders. Since the sandwiches were so good, we decided to go with them for our party. Our order was on time and exactly as we’d asked. They also provided us with mustard and mayo packets and “The Goods” on the side in convenient serving packages. The pricing is also extremely competitive. They are much cheaper than popular chain sandwich places’ catering options which shocked me since it is a small local business. “Food was made to order. I ordered a fish sandwich and a fry and pop came with it; my total was 9.47 wit tax. The Fish sandwich had lettuce tomato and some onion; I took off the onions. I asked for mild sauce on the fries, which was also pretty good. Only drawback is the fries were a small sized portion, and I should have ordered two meals since I was so hungry that time. The fish had a battered fillet; mine was a fillet and a half which was nice compared to other places which is a minced breaded fish patty.
