“I ordered the avocado chicken curry with rice! It was absolutely delicious. Very flavourful. Just perfect. My friend got the avocado mac and cheese. I tasted it and loved that too. The portions are large and we brought some home. We got the avocado cheesecake cup for desert and wow! Yummy yummy yummy. They have a kids menu too! I will be a regular customer in the future. You have to try this place!“

“This is one of my favorite vegan Mexican restaurants. Chef Patricia is so sweet. I almost always get the Carne Asada burrito but I’ve loved everything I have tried. The nachos & tacso are so good too. The peanut butter cookies are probably the best I’ve ever had. I love the chocolate mini Bundt cake.“

Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!“

“So I visited this place at least three times with a carry out order and customer service was awesome first time. Second I decided to go due to the good food and definitely the customer service, again awesome. Third, I enjoyed my food as always with recommendations from the young lady ( forgot her name). All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! They were very nice to help me and for that I’m grateful. They went above and beyond. They made sure I was taken care of. So I brought my daughter there and she agree with the great customer service. “We loved our food, my son got the honey sliders and mom got the Louisiana bugger and I got the black bugger. The fries were plenty, my daughter loved my bugger and we had to come back. Mom got the rice and beans, son got the half chicken and I went for the catfish...then ofcourse my daughter ordered the black bugger. We'll definitely be back when in town again, the ratio for the rice and beans was little though. We got some fries to go. Overall, we loved the food!“

“OMG!!! This place is the bomb, the inside of the restaurant is gorgeous, the customer service is phenomenal and the food is fantastic. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for some delicious soul food. I love the dressing, baked chicken, sweet potatoes and muffins. The portions are good, I had enough left over to take some home for a late night snack. Our hostess Ms. Lyn has outstanding service she made sure that my glass was full at all times and that I had everything that I needed. “I placed an order to go. Was informed that there was a $3.00 to go charge and a gratuity would be added on the order cause it was over $100.00. After I checked the receipt, $18.35 was the gratuity. I thought it would be maybe $5.00. Very disappointed. Had I known this, I would have come into the restaurant and ate there had them provide me with service. I am a senior and that was definetly not right. I've already instructed my family not to get me gift card from Maple and Jam.“

“I am recommending the restaurant based on past experiences at previous location. Even though the service was slow, the food was delicious and the man who served us had a great attitude. However, this new location is closer to my house and I would be a frequent customer if they would ever answer the phone. I called both numbers on this page. One is out of service the other never gets answered. I want to see this restaurant succeed. It is Black owned and I want to support it. Please update your number on Facebook to the correct number that will get answered. Until I am able to call to place an order, I will place my order at Daisy's Cafe 2 in Hazel Crest. It's a longer drive, but They always answer their phone.“

“I’ve been coming here for the past 4 yrs and have tried almost everything on the menu with no disappointment w the exception of my last visit. I’m not a beef eater so I wasn’t aware of the difference between a Philly steak and a sweet steak I had the Philly and loved it however when asking the difference the guy had no clue and read the menu as I did clearly the difference is bbq sauce is drenched on the sweet steak had he mentioned that I would’ve never ordered and wasted $25 being that I don’t like bbq sauce to that extent. The food is always on point but it seems like every time I order I have to double check because something is either missing or I get the wrong order but it’s always something otherwise I would’ve given 5 stars. This is my go to for comfort food the Burgers are my favorite and by far the best vegan food I’ve had in the City!“
