“We wandered over to Ositos from Hyde Park, to try something new, and loved it. Ositos has delicious food, and really good cocktails in a cozy, unpretentious atmosphere. The service is warm, attentive, and they make you feel welcome like you’re part of the family. Very gezellig! The coquito was a delicious indulgence (I’ll be dreaming about it tonight); the pumpkin burnt basque cheesecake a delicious indulgence; the mole rosa, guacamole, wings, and the quesaditzin were all excellent.“

“Posto 31 is arguably the best restaurant and ambiance in the La Grange/La Grange park area. The food is consistently high quality at a fair price point. Portion sizes are great and the drinks are delicious.“

“I attended Davern’s Tavern and Lounge over the weekend for a benefit. Wow!! If you’re looking for a place to hold a benefit, this is it! The outside grounds were very nice and spacious. The bartender and all the workers were so friendly and
helpful. Joe the owner, especially stood out. His love for Byron and this wonderful family was so evident. He was funny and held the guests attention, raising as much as much money as possible for them. He was more than just the owner of the bar, he genuinely cared about this benefit and everyone felt it.“

“This was my first time using 99 Haus Balloons for my daughter's 2nd birthday party and they went above and beyond!! Absolutely worth every penny and will be a repeat customer for all my balloon needs! Fabulous service, the product looked amazing and my daughter was in love with the balloons. “Very clean bar. Italian beef sandwich and Sicilian pizza was delicious. Bar staff seems to be very friendly. There is quite a lack of parking at this facility. There was only three people in the bar. Went on a Monday before 4th of July 2024.

I did hear they have karaoke on the weekend so hopefully I'll be able to check that out very soon.

If you have an opportunity I would definitely check out Cuzin's.“

“We started with the daily smoothie and the base was mixed berries. I love smoothies but don’t get them often because places just don’t do it right, but I was impressed with this one. The iced vanilla latte also hit the spot to the point where we actually got one to go. For food we split the smashed avocado toast with the addition of smoked salmon on top. I really liked this, and it was actually my favorite item we ordered, loved the chili crisps and everything bagel seasoning. My friend Alec got the Chicken Caesar Wrap which was good, but it could’ve used a little more chicken. The west coast breakfast burrito I liked more, but it was kinda on the salty side from the hash brown which was the only down side, but this thing is freaking huge and if I were to come back, I would get the smashed toast and those drinks.“

“I went to this bar to watch Blackhawks games saw them win Stanley Cups 2010 and 2013, drinks were very good, the owner was nice, the people were nice, always had good times.“

“Mugsy's is a great and lively local tavern. Chill vibes, great people, amazing bartenders and service, and a wonderful back patio. Definitely worth stopping by and checking out if your in Forest Park or nearby..

Parking: There's a small 3 or 4 car lot behind the bar, but there's also free parking on the street and it's not hard to find a spot near the bar.“

“This is not your typical ‘bar food’. Everything we have tried there is higher quality Restaurant Food. Bartenders … especially Artie and Kristy are attentive, efficient and fun ! The 0wner, Tommy is usually hanging around and is friendly and accommodating. Sometimes due to allergies I have to alter the menu a little and he doesn’t hesitate to switch things around a little… Do yourself a favor… stop in for a great meal and enjoy a friendly atmosphere.“

“It's a small place with lots of big personalities. Dream is a great bar star and pours a mean drink. Prices are economical and you feel safe there. They scan everyone's ID which I think is a Posen requirement but I like it so if anything occurs, you know who was there. They have karaoke on Tuesdays and the owner has complimentary smoked wings and salad for patrons.“

“I love this city watering hole!“

“This has been our go to place for Friday dinner for over a year now. It’s a bit of a drive from our house but it’s well worth it. Their burgers are outstanding. We had a party for my birthday here a few years ago with about 25 people and they did an awesome job. Everyone was happy. Liana and Natalie are our favorite servers. They both do an awesome job and always go above and beyond. They see us come in and our drinks are on the table shortly after that. The popcorn is pretty good too. Great food, great atmosphere, very friendly staff. Wolfs Head is definitely one of our favorite places.“
