“Sweet Indulgences is perfectly named, and addictivly so. You will never have a more mouthwatering, fluffy, delectable treat as you will with these cakes. The talented artist Michelle, makes an addictive fondant that rivals all competitors. Instead of the fondant tasting like a waxy plastic, it tastes like a spongy marshmallow, almost reminiscent of a twinkle. I have ordered cakes from her for years and have yet to have a disappointment. Her cakes are always artful, beautifully decorated, and absolutely the most delicious cakes I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Everyone in my family now looks forward to their birthdays for cake instead of presents. More so, the cakes are affordable and are so much fun to pick out the next design. Sweet Indulgences is perfect for any occasion you can think of that might require cake. I'm extremely excited to see how she will do my Wedding cake next Halloween. In the meantime I will keep updating my reviews with pictures of her confections and attempting to persuade anyone I talk to, to give her cakes a try.They really are THAT good.”

“Ok I don't do this often but here I go. I am a steak and tater girl! And Hanolds's serves some of the BEST steaks around. They are seasoned and cooked perfectly!! I love how I can go in, sit right down and get waited on. No hour long wait, no buzzing for my table. Saturday night steak night is where it's at! The best part....DESSERT IS INCLUDED WITH YOUR MEAL!!! Great small local business that you should definitely check out!”

“Just WOW!!! We had the Traditional Gumbo and Pork Jambalaya today. FANTASTIC dishes both!!! We fell in love with the food in N.O. years ago and have been searching in IL for something even close. This place hits!!! 🔥🔥🔥 The pork Jambalaya had a pulled pork that was melt in your mouth, perfectly seasoned goodness. And the gumbo....most of the time, I leave the "gravy" because most times its meh. This one was perfect and had just the right amount of heat. Will definitely be back soon!!!”

“My wife and I, our niece and her boyfriend went to Joe K’s for brunch on Saturday, February 14th at 11 am. It’s a popular time so we had a short wait (10 minutes). Our server, Renee, was very friendly and efficient. Food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious.”

“My partner and I had lunch here. I got the three regular roll lunch special (15.95) and they got chicken yaki udon (13.95?). We also shared a spicy edamame appetizer.

The spicy edamame was DELICIOUS. Simple and enjoyable. The miso was light and exactly what I needed. My rolls were just about what you would expect for the price point. Nothing crazy special, a little underwhelming, but absolutely hit my sushi craving. My partner enjoyed their chicken yaki udon! I also had a Diet Pepsi!

I ended up paying 54.34 including my 9.00 tip. Not bad for a lunch out. I would go back especially for the spicy edamame.”

He eats biscuits and gravy sausage links and fried potatoes there. when before we went there he wouldn't eat anything but McDonald's. so glad to have this place to go to.
