Maybe one order only kiosk or one more person could make it more efficient as folks are waiting in line for 10 minutes. I also appreciate the family atmosphere, but there will be times screaming children are right in the middle of where patrons are dining and relaxing. I would recommend a specified area for the kids a bit further away from the main patrons but I understand the constraints of the space (might make more sense to have the kids play area near the food truck). “Petite Vie was a total "find"! While looking on OpenTable for a dinner spot on Friday, I stumbled across a French restaurant that I didn't know existed. I mentioned it to a few friends and that Sunday we went to Western Springs to check it out. The place is bright, cheery and inviting. We sat at the bar and were waited on by Patrick; bartender, manager, entertainer! The cocktails were creative and awesome, the food (especially the Pork Chasseur) was outstanding and the entire staff was welcoming and helpful. I feel like French food is slowly disappearing from our area, and to find this wonderful place was really fortunate. Please do yourself a favor, book a table and enjoy Petite Vie!“

It’s right by all the shops in Oak Park and there’s usually paid parking or side street parking a block or so away. I recommend their matcha latte or a dark coffee. This is a good spot to work from.“

I ordered the pick 2. My choice was the half a Greek salad and half of the garden Caprese melt sandwich. The Caprese melt was outstanding. It had basil, fresh mozzarella, tomato, arugula, shredded Parmesan and a green goddess dressing
On top of it. There was no skimping on this sandwich. From size and the ingredients.
It was delicious. I have yet to try the Greek salad. I’m saving that for dinner tonight. The half size Caprese Melt was more than enough to have for lunch. I ordered on the Panera app. Fast pickup!

“We just happened to catch the name Carabella on our way from doing some errands and decided to come back and visit the restaurant. To our surprise, this little hidden treasure is our favorite place to eat breakfast. The food is full of flavor, and we aim to try it all but not all at once, of course. Lol 😋It's become our favorite place to come for lunch as well. The other day, we had jibaritos, and they have made it even more delicious than any other place that we have ordered it before. “After driving past Elijah's in the mornings for the last few months I finally decided to stop in and give it a try (you should always try to support local). I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?) The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked If they made there Scones fresh and she said yes we bake daily. I bought a variety to bring to the gig for the crew this morning. My Coffee was made exactly the way I make it at home and the Scones were still warm and made me feel like I was on Arthur Avenue at Morrone's pastry in the Bronx waiting in line for them to come out of the oven fresh. I must give Elijah's Coffee 5 stars today and recommend it to everybody and I will now be a customer.
