“This location of Olive Garden turned out to be a really great experience 🍝✨ Everything felt organized and well-managed, which made the whole visit smooth and enjoyable from the start. We were seated almost immediately with barely any wait ⏱️😊, which is always a big plus!
The service was attentive and friendly throughout our meal 👏🙂 — we felt well taken care of without being overwhelmed. Of course, the salad and breadsticks were just as amazing as always 🥗🥖, fresh and super tasty. Our pasta dishes came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor 🔥🍝.
We specifically came for the unlimited pasta bowl deal, and it did not disappoint 😍 We tried a few different combinations, but honestly, the classic Alfredo and the meat sauce were the clear winners 🏆👌 — simple but so good!
For the price, the portion sizes and quality are seriously hard to beat 💸👍. You definitely get great value for your money here. We left full, happy, and already planning to come back again soon 😄✨“

“The four of us had a great time at this local gem. We had curry with rice, drunken noodles, and two orders of “chef’s gone crazy”—the chef cooked whatever he wanted for us and they were both pleasant surprises! Everything was delicious, and I have to say that their 3/5 spice level is a pretty solid 3/5. You could definitely taste the spiciness, but it wasn’t the main star of the show. If you like your food spicy, I’d say even go higher.“

“Slice Factory never disappoints! The pizza is always super fresh and loaded with flavor. You can tell they care about quality. The staff is awesome too, super friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better.
But let me tell you… the wings are next-level. Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. easily some of the best I’ve had. And if you’ve never tried their Nutella bites, you’re missing out big time. They’re warm, delicious, and honestly heavenly.

“I’ve been coming to this place since it was Billy’s, still continue coming and I frequent more now actually, the place has been remodeled, clean, the owner is extremely friendly as well as the whole entire staff. You get a friendly welcome everytime you come in, now let’s get to the food! Always a 10/10 food is ALWAYS fresh, hot and full of flavor, a gyro under 15 bucks with a salad? You can’t beat that in this economy, a great variety of food from American to Greek.“

“A lovely downtown sandwich shop. We got an Avocado BLT, Shrimp and Crab Roll, Turkey Club, and a Cubano. Everyone loved their sandwich and enjoyed the ice cream dessert too. Staff was very helpful and I loved the style of the restaurant. Our only critical comment was the turkey club could have used more bacon (which was delicious). We can't wait to come back!“

“I stopped by Pop's Italian Beef today with my usual plan of attack — the legendary ribeye steak sandwich that normally has my name written all over it. But then I saw the sign…
“Mondays in March – 46th Anniversary Special.”
And suddenly my carefully crafted sandwich strategy went right out the window. Instead of the steak sandwich, I audibled and went with three of the cheeseburger specials, because at those prices it felt almost irresponsible not to participate in the celebration.
Apparently the entire population of Lyons had the exact same idea.
The place was absolutely slammed. The poor girls behind the counter — Cecilia and Celeste — were running around in circles like contestants in the Italian Beef Olympics. Orders flying, people everywhere, the grill working overtime. They were hustling nonstop and doing their best to keep the whole operation moving.
Because of the anniversary madness, I ended up waiting quite a while for my food. At one point I started wondering if I might still be standing there when they roll out the banner for their 47th anniversary.
But when the burgers finally arrived? Totally worth it. Juicy, cheesy, messy in the way a proper burger should be — the kind where you need a pile of napkins and absolutely no dignity while eating it.
So yes, the wait was real, but between the great food, the anniversary chaos, and Cecilia and Celeste working like absolute champions, it was still a memorable stop.
Pro tip: If you see an anniversary special at Pop’s… bring your patience. The reward at the end is still delicious.“

“So typically I have enjoyed everything I have ordered . Today I got the steak fajita and chips and Salsa through grub hub (.I live very close) The portion size of the fajita was very small for the price like the smallest portion i've ever seen for a fajita. It was also very chewy and not flavorful at all. And surprisingly the chips were stale. I typically wouldn't even waste my time on a review but this was pretty bad.“

“Mr. Sub has always been my favorite! Whenever people ask me why, I can never quite put my finger on it—I just say it’s simply the best. Over the years, I’ve rarely lived close enough to make it a regular stop, but it’s always been worth the drive.
When I was pregnant with my son 35 years ago, I craved submarine sandwiches constantly. Back then, I’d make the trip from Woodridge out to the Berwyn/Cicero or Brookfield locations just to satisfy that craving.
These days, if I’m anywhere near a Mr Submarine, I make it a point to stop. After all this time, my order hasn’t changed: a King size Mr. Sub sandwich (I save the other 1/2 for lunch the next day). The only difference now is I’ve added the garlic-parm fries to the mix—they’re so good we usually eat them in the car on the way back home to Sycamore.
The only thing I would change is to have a location in Sycamore, IL!
