“Today (Sunday, 1/29), was my 3rd time here! Great visit! I ordered the Ultimate Ace Milk Tea; it was really good —loved its honey flavor and smooth milkiness! The previous times i came here—Saturday 1/21 and Sunday, 1/22---were both great, too! On Saturday, I had the Dragonball Tea; on Sunday, the Grapefruit Lychee Jelly Tea--I'd definitely order both again! I haven't been to a tea house in about 6 or 7 years when I used to make the schlep to Highland Park to Billy Corgan's tea house, Madame Zuzu's! Umbrella Tea House is, so far, the absolute best I've ever been to (closer to home, not as pricey, better ambience, younger/more interesting clientele)! The tea selection is huge and interesting, the ambience is hip and surreal (loved the beautiful, trippy, lit up enchanted forest decor inside, plus the small comfy couch seating in the back, along with all the anime figures on the counter...So very COOL!!! The employees who work here are professional, knowledgeable, and efficient! Last, the clientele here is young, diverse and very cool without any pretension--I hung out for 2 hours each visit, loving my awesomely flavorful, relaxing tea and digging the surreal, chilled out vibe of the place and the atom collider of Millennial/Gen Z-ers who flooded the place after I came in each time! You could people watch all day! The first time I came in, a young dude with a long denim dress came in! Today, 4 Pakistani dudes with long black beards in traditional gown-like outfits came in! The price of this location versus other location seems to be on the lower side and it is greatly appreciated, because three dollars more makes a difference and I just would not buy it! They not only put together crush ingredients, but the presentation is always at its best. I have become a regular there, which is not easy on my wallet, but worth it for my appetite and it’s healthy depending on what you got so if you love sushi and you can’t have Rice- get a bowl, no rice and voila!“

It did take a little time to get my order ready, which I wasn't expecting for a corn dog.There are many options to choose from. I ordered the combo with an Original Kong Dog. Holy moly that's a lot of fries! There was enough for three people. The fries were good, and the dog was alright but not great. Maybe I'll return one day try the potato dog next time. Or the ramen dog. Or the Cheeto dog. Or...Anyway. The mango lemonade is really good and my favorite item from this visit.3.5 stars, rounded up to four.“
“I decided to come here since it was one of the places that closes late. We were the only customers when we walked in. Employee was friendly and she greeted us. Just to clarify, it was only one person doing everything. It seemed like after we ordered, that’s when people started coming in one after the other. Then there was a huge group that came in. The “slow service” I let it slide since she didn’t know there was going to be an inundation of customers pouring in. You know those clown cars where 20 clowns come out, yeah it seemed like that. I got the lychee milk tea with golden boba and an egg waffle with ice cream. I ordered 50% sugar. The drink itself was decent, not too sweet which I like. I do wish the golden boba was a little less chewy. They also didn’t have the tofu pudding that I wanted. Egg waffle was crispy, warm, and soft. The ice cream was Oreo. Other than that, they had an adequate amount of tables. That’s assuming you don’t have the clown cars with 20 kids coming out of it. Prices were fair. Place was clean when we first walked in, not sure about after we left.“

“Was in the area and had to make a stop back to Mochinut. The flavors this week looked really good. I love the texture and chewiness of these donuts. They are light and not overly sweet. We enjoyed the original glazed and churro at the store. My sister was expecting the glazed to be a sugar rush. But to her surprise it wasn't too sweet, but perfect! She had her first mochiball and loved the strawberry filling. Great little after noon treat to enjoy with hot tea on this frigid cold weekend!“
“Releaf is inside Mitsuwa's food court area. They make the best matcha lattes ever. I ordered the matcha latte soy boba and I will have to say it was the best boba/matcha latte I have ever had!I am honestly very particular about getting an authentic strong matcha latte and they hit the spot plus perfect little tapioca pearls. I literally crave this all the time so I can't wait for the next time I can go. Highly recommend trying them! :)“

I got the strawberry mango real fruit drink with tapioca balls. 5/5. For the froyo I got a medium size with ube, lychee, and sea salt caramel pretzel. Ube flavor wasn’t very strong. Lychee was very refreshing. Sea salt caramel pretzel was very good. You can choose as many toppings as you want, as long as they can fit. I kept it simple with fresh strawberries, fresh cherries, and pomegranate boba.There is seating but be warned, kind of limited depending on how long loitering families will stay. When we got there, there were a couple Indian families hogging two tables. They were already finished eating/drinking when we arrived. They were still there after we ate. They were probably there for a couple hours. Parking lot is also very tight and small. Difficult for cars entering/exiting. No restrooms.“

“I had been wanting to go to Kurimu since it's opening by the UIC campus. I had heard good things about it, and the kind of soft serve ice cream they serve reminded me of Japanese soft serve I had in Hong Kong and Singapore. After multiple openings, including the one in Schaumburg, I still didn't check it out until December 2023. My main reason to not go the Schaumburg (by the virtue of being closer to me) location was the price point. Their menu is good, but the items are on the pricey side. Upon reading a handful of reviews, the general consensus I got from them was that although it is pricey shop, the quality and taste of their offerings are definitely worth it to at least experience it once. On my visit, I ordered a scoop of Thai Ice Tea ice cream, a Strawberry Matcha Latte, and a Dalgona Coffee Milk Tea. The shop was inviting and clean. The menu options were laid out well, and the staff member working at that time was friendly and very helpful. You can place your order through a kiosk or give it to the staff member at the cash register. I took my deciding what I wanted as it was my first time at Kurimu. While I was there, the shop got busy, which is good, and therefore, ordering through the kiosk came in handy. The staff member was pretty fast. I didn't have to wait long to get my order. Also, the ice cream I ordered was not enough in stock, so the staff member informed me that they would give me another complimentary scoop of ice cream of the flavor of my choice. I also wanted to get soft-serve, but the flavors at the time were not of my interest. They rotate their soft-serve flavors every month, I was told. I liked what I had a lot. The Thai Ice Tea ice cream was so creamy and flavorful. Its flavor was very pronounced. The complimentary scoop I chose was that of Melon ice cream flavor, and it was delicious, as well. I also loved the Dalgona Coffee Milk Tea. I had not had it before.Kurimu was definitely a hit in my book. I liked everything I tried. Yes, it is on the pricey side, but it's well worth a visit as what is offered is of high quality and taste and is not just run of the mill stuff. Sure, I can not afford to go here as often as I would like to but a few visits here, and there would be a good way to check out the different offerings of Kurimu.“

“Stopped by for a late night boba run as this is one is open late. It is small but they have a wide variety of options and they have some seating but It is very popular. There were no tables available because it was packed. Parking can get tricky depending on how busy it is, you may need to park in the back. I ordered a regular size brown sugar milk tea with tapioca boba. It was on the sweeter side than I'm use to. I enjoyed the tapioca balls they had a good consistency to them. I'd be curious to try some other flavors and items on their menu.“

“One of my favorite desserts/snacks of all time - shaved ice with red beans (bingsu) topped with ice cream, mochi and fruit. Perfect summer time dish. There was a concern that this place wasn't going to able to make it through the pandemic. But they reconfigured their interior and managed to survive. Now they offer food items in addition to bubble teas and shaved ice. Their food, on the other hand, was inconsistent at best. While tofu bowl was decent, ramen was simply a stored-bought ramen put in a bowl. You'd have to pay extra if you want additional items. To charge $10 for that is... not cool.“
“The ice cream is fantastic, the only downside is the service is kind of mid. They sometimes take forever because they’re always understaffed but the food does not disappoint! They always are asking to tip on their computer though which is super annoying considering they just stare you down while you are on the machine. All the menu items are diverse and I prefer the marshmallow, strawberry banana, and strawberry chocolate ice cream!! Also all their teamonades are super good!!! I prefer raspberry, peach, and lychee. They also sometimes add the actual fruit and a lemon piece into the drinks. The ambiance is kind of meh, it’s a very bright atmosphere but with empty and big spacing around the seats. Sometimes when it’s busy there’s not enough space to even enjoy your treat, but I love the ice cream and drinks! “
“Really appreciated the fact that the food is freshly prepared and comes out piping hot. The fries were really good, nicely seasoned and not greasy at all, actually a bit crunchy to perfection. The chicken sandwich and burger we ordered were really nicely flavored. Overall a nice lunch place when craving burger or chicken sandwich with a bit of a kick. We didn't try any drink so can't comment on the bobas they did look nice though.“
