“I came in tonight and was excited because I’ve been craving a jrito crunch and have been for about 3 years and my buddy Carl told all his fb friends that owner is a previous franchisee of jrs and they have the chil ito which is this same xact indgredients (yes same chili and cheese and same chips as jrito everything was phenomenal came from Thornton which is about a half hour plus drive. So so worth the drive I refused to touch anything til I got home so I could enjoy that first bite. Thank you to the owners for preserving the beautiful food of your past establishment only to bring it to your new establishment! Everything was phenomenal!!!“

“This place really hit the spot. Just one of those classic Chicago spots where the focus is all about the food. You can smell the grilled sausage and onions as soon as you walk in, that alone had me sold.
I ordered the Polish sausage, I just wanted something solid. But this one totally surprised me. It was loaded with chopped onions, thick tomato slices, a big crunchy pickle, and a couple sport peppers. Not your usual Maxwell Polish.
The sausage was grilled just right, nice and crisp on the outside, and super juicy when I bit into it. It came out hot, fresh, and fast, maybe a 5-minute wait. The staff was super friendly and welcoming.
If you're looking for a solid Polish or just want to try something that feels classic Chicago, this is it.“

“I moved from Chicago 40 years ago and haven't been to Parky's since I was a kid. It was our go-to hot dog spot prior to 1972 when we moved from River Forest. Going back was such a thrill for me after so long, and it hasn't changed! I had forgotten that these dogs come off the grill and aren't soaking in hot dog water for hours (not there is anything wrong with an HDW soak). I love a nice char on my dogs, so this was a pleasant surprise. So glad I made the detour!“

“Hit up Lulu's Hot Dogs over by UIC for a quick bite. Grabbed the 2 hot dog special with fries for about $11. Dogs were legit—snappy Vienna beef, loaded with all the classic toppings. Fries were solid, though not mind-blowing. Place has that old-school vibe, which I dig. Service was fast and friendly. Only knock is the limited seating, but it's perfect for a grab-and-go meal.“

“Great little spot in the tunnel and out of the cold! Food was really good! Cashier was friendly! Our order was accurate and food was ready really quickly!
Only problem, is the place is a bit pricy!

The total was $90!! That's roughly $18 per person!
Food was good though, so I'm not upset. Just wanted to warn tourists who may not be prepared for that kind of pricing.“

“They have a LONG menu. Everything is have tried is good but I can't get enough of the Beef Melt. The meat has so much flavor and is a big sandwich. The ladies that work here are always friendly and get you in and out quickly. OH YEAH the prices are so low it's like they're giving food away..lol!! I came before they were closing and he took care of me , I absolutely love JJ Fish & Chicken! Every time I go, I order the chicken tenders, and they are always fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The customer service is excellent—everyone is friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. It’s hard to find a spot that consistently delivers great food and service, but JJ Fish & Chicken nails it every time. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and a great experience!“

“This was my first time trying mochi donuts, and they were delicious. They are light and airy and not too sweet. I had the iced vanilla latte with oat milk, and my husband got a hot one. It was the perfect combo. The staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. The place was super adorable.
Parking is paid. Come prepared to park and walk. Worth it though!“

“my husband had a taste for chicken I wanted a gyro so we went to Athens to get a gyro while we were there he noticed that they had a fried chicken dinner so we ordered it unfortunately being late in the day they were out of chicken but the owner went to the supply store and got the chicken took our oder and delivered it for free and the chicken was delicious would recommend Athens to everyone great service“
