“Weezy's is a pure gem. It's the best part about a trip to Byron, in my view. The atmosphere itself is so cozy and intriguing. It makes you feel like you're in a special, unique place where you can have fun and eat great food. Even if you only go for the cheesecake, it will not be a wasted trip. I happened upon it during a trip to the city one day for a work order, and it's one of the best discoveries of my life.“

The Sunday crew of Dennis and Emily rock! Super attentive and excellent banter with the patrons. They work great together and utilize a team approach when managing the bar and grill. They talk with the customers and make everyone feel right at home.
The atmosphere here is always friendly and welcoming… even if you’re not rooting for the home team on a Sunday afternoon!

“If you're anywhere near Winnebago and haven't been to The Post Bar & Grill, you're seriously missing out. This place is everything a small-town bar should be — friendly, welcoming, and always a great time. First off, the bartenders are top-notch. Missy, Brooke, and Angel are all amazing — super friendly, fast, and always make you feel like part of the family the second you walk in. Whether you're grabbing a beer, trying one of their specialty drinks, or just chatting at the bar, you're in good hands with these ladies. And let’s not forget the food — shoutout to Cook Chris in the kitchen! Everything coming out of there is delicious. You can tell there's real care put into every order, and it hits the spot every time. Great portions, fair prices, and cooked just right. Between the great atmosphere, awesome staff, and killer food, The Post has become one of our favorite spots. 5 stars all the way! 👏🍔🍻“

“All the staff has been very friendly and attentive every time I go in there. Pretty much never have to wait for drinks. Good conversation, good service, and good slots.“

“After visiting the nearby rock river dam, we wanted to find a place to cool off and rest before going back out into the heat.

We found this place after a quick search and picked it just because it was the closest spot to us to get out of the muggy weather.

We were delighted to see a familiar bartender who had helped us as a different establishment in Polo. Plus, they had the same menu as the polo restaurant/bar, so we knew the food was going to be good.

We ordered drinks and the fried cheese curds. Everything was good from the drinks and food to the service. We enjoyed our drinks and snacks while we watched the river flow by outside of the window behind the bar. We even spied a deer walking along the edge of the brush.“

“They need to have an online menu so people know what kind of food they have. I have messaged twice now and no response. I have been there once and the food was good but don't remember what all they had.“
