“What a fun discovery! Went looking for an early dinner spot after the Burpee Museum, to avoid driving back to Chicago in traffic. Could not have asked for better service or a cozier vibe. Seriously did not know Rockford had an arts scene, nor a funky neighborhood like the North End. Food was inventive and delicious, carefully prepared and beautifully presented. The cocktails were ??especially the Floradora and the SooLong Winter, made with a tea infusion (pic). My husband has difficulty walking but he had no issues here. “Always a great experience. Drinks are reasonably priced. Bathrooms are clean and well taken care of. Have a decent selection of drinks. Dining is opened limited hours, but the food is good. Staff is awesome as are the members - very welcoming and friendly. Seems like there's always something interesting going on here and it's open to the public during membership drives. Great to support this veterans organization!“

He was personable, glad to explain the ice cream shots they have, shared the last Tue of the month paint "party" they do, and was on top of making sure needs were being met without being overbearing. “Rockview Bar is a bar with a wide diversity. The atmosphere within depends on the night. I am not sure if the prices went up recently, but the prices seem comparable with other bars in the area. They have two dart boards, a pool table, six gambling machines, two atm's and a horseshoe shaped bar.“
