“I ordered their chicken, salmon and shrimp as my proteins—and boy, did the flavor not disappoint! The portion sizes were perfect and the price point was too. The salmon damn near melted in my mouth! Placing my order online was easy and pick up was quick. I will definitely be ordering again very soon to incorporate this into my meals throughout the week. The pre-portioned meals definitely give me something to look forward to during this quarantine. I wish I could give the meal, flavor, portion and customer service a 10 out of 10 stars!!“
“Stopped here because I was in the area. I called and when I asked for the jerk catfish she told me to hold on, I was anticipating her coming back to let me know they were out, but instead she came back and said they had it. Whew!! Food was hot, plentiful and good. Rice and peas were lightly seasoned and the gravy on top very seasoned so it was a good mesh. Catfish could have had a little more seasoning, but that’s just a personal preference. Cabbage was very good and Mac was your typical jerk restaurant Mac (not baked, and not fancy, but also not bad). Cashier was fine and I don’t really care about the ambiance. I’ll stop in again when I’m out in Calumet. I didn’t like their jerk sauce; too vinegary“
“Pleasantly Surprised! I was initially invited to the venue with friends. When I first arrived (in the parking lot), I had my concerns ( nothing I can articulate, just a gut feeling). Going inside changed everything. The drinks we amazing and the food was delicious.The decor and vibe was very chill. The staff was professional. I really enjoyed myself. Not having to pay for parking combined with a laid back good time is a no brainer for me. I will be back!“

“10 out of 10 across the board!! I loved it here and I'm still thinking about the food! The service was great and so were the drinks. We even got 2 free drinks because the bartender made extra. I ordered the Rasta Pasta with salmon and shrimp and the flavor and spice level was perfect. Super flavorful. I forget the name of the dessert puffs, which were decent, but the Caramel Rum cake was so much better. Super moist and not too sweet. The space is small so I would suggest a reservation, but they also have a full bar with seating for walk-ins. The owner was even walking around and checking on everyone, which is always a green flag at a restaurant for me.“
“My job catered a an order for Black History Month celebration, and it was fantastic - usually we have food left over, but this time- most of it was eaten! I'll have to try this place myself. We had the Rice and beans, Jerked Chicken, Cabbage / roasted veggies, and plantains. everything was good!“

“I love the concept (striving to encourage healthy eating) and the fact that it is a black-owned business in a black neighborhood is even better. The food has been top notch all 3 times that I have ordered from here; they do not disappoint. There has not been a dish that I didn't like (red snapper, greens, carrot fluff, turkey burger, need I say more?!). My colleague had a black bean burger, yesterday and returned today for another. It was amazing - I had the 6 piece jerk dinner ( included salad , plantains and red beans & rice under the chicken and a slice of bread ) I had an additional mac and cheese and yams ( they standard size is huge by the way, definitely get your moneys worth ) my total was under $14 before the extra sides I got but it came out to $24 with everything. It included 1 very small sauce but truly that’s all you need.Thank you all again!“
