“I haven’t gotten my pizza yet, but the manager(I didn’t grab his name) was so kind and courteous and kept helping me with my DoorDash mixup. Honestly just that alone gives this place 5 stars because not a lot of people have that kind of courtesy. What a wonderful person. I will update my review once I taste my pizza

“In 2017, I picked up my older brother at Midway to come home to the funeral of our youngest brother that committed suicide at 23 yers old. We swung over to Vito and Nick's to get a pizza and talk. It was our first time there. We ended up telling the waitress the situation because we had both been crying. Next thing we know, the kitchen had par-baked like 8 large pizzas of all types, and gave us a hand-written note giving us condolences and instructions on how to finish baking the pizzas. They said they wanted to make sure my family was well-fed in our time of tragedy ❤ And the pizza is INCREDIBLE ❤ SPECIAL, SPECIAL PLACE“

“The shaved ice is amazing. They have several flavors to choose from. That was my favorite part actually.

The pizza was okay. It needs seasoning in the sauce. I had pepperoni and my husband had pepperoni and sausage. He said the sausage tasted like Casey's sausage. Do with that what you will.

Other than the lack of seasoning, the crust was great. If you LOVE cheese, you will like how much cheese they use. The pepperonis would taste better if they were above the cheese, but that is of course preference. Overall nice place. 1 slice is all you really need do to the size of each slice.“

“My husband keeps a list of pizza places we need to try. Today was the day to try Cipriani’s after our flight at Midway. The place is easy to get to from Midway and was outstanding. The staff were all patient and kind while we decided what to order. Their specialty is stuffed pizza, which my husband is not usually a fan of, but we ordered one. It did not disappoint. Sauce was flavorful, the right amount of toppings and cheese with a crust that didn’t make the pizza feel too stuffed. We also tried two soups. Pasta figole and minestrone. Both were also delicious, the pasta figole being a bit tangy. The owner, Sarah, was very welcoming. The small dining room was clean. A great find!“

“Growing up in the Chicago area, especially on the south side, you EXPECT local pizza joints to be good. Lots of places that don't primarily sell pizza still have better pizza that you get in other parts of the country.

Though it's been around for a long time, as have I, I'd never tried Rosangela's prior to this time, and I'm here to say that I am a believer.

I tried introducing a colleague of mine to chicago pizza at a couple other places, and they did not impress him... Rosangela's did.

Just a medium special and a drink, but I will tell you that it's some of the best tavern style things crust pizza you'll ever have.

It's as good as your favorite place, and likely better.

“As I walked in the cashier was too busy playing a game on her phone. She acted as if I was disturbing her. Anyway now to the pizza I ordered a small pizza with 4 toppings, extra cheese and sauce. It was 30 dollars a couple of the toppings was a double charge. They told me 40 minutes. I've never waited that long for a pizza but okay. It wasn't definitely no extra cheese and sauce. I must say it was delicious. Just a few things rubbed me the wrong way so I'm not sure if I will try it again“

“One of my favorite local pizza spots. The pizza is always delicious and the staff is always pleasant. I stopped in yesterday to pick up pizza for the family. The staff were extremely busy and hot (we're in the middle of a heatwave) but everyone still had smiles on their faces and were a delight to talk to. “This place was amazing. I was in the area to roller skate, and I asked Google where I could go get a reasonably priced meal. And it recommended this restaurant. So I went because they have pizza and having a pizza in a while. The bartender recommended thin crust because she said that's what they're going for. The pizza was amazing the margarita was okay not bad but not spectacular either. My only negative but for this place was it was pretty expensive. I've had the same meal at other places for about $10 less.“
