“Forbidden noodles' primarily culinary focus is Japanese Ramen and stir fry selections. The curry is good and tastes very much like the mild golden ramen brand Japanese curry that I make at home occasionally. The chicken and broccoli added to the standard rice and carrot/potato curry mixture were of good quality. The Tonkotsu had very good pork, and surprisingly, it included broccoli as well. The more common ramen garnishes of onions, baby bock choy, egg, naruto (fish cake), and seaweed were also in this bowl and tasted good. They have a cheese, steak, and jalapeño egg roll that was amazing, and yes, you should try one. Forbidden Noodles is a great addition to downtown La Grange and for this area, this is a good choice for ramen in the area. If you are searching for your favorite bowl of ramen anywhere around chicagoland, feel free to check my reviews of alternate ramen restaurant options.“
“Very nice place, especially if you just want a really relaxing atmosphere, great vibes, super sweet and friendly and not to mention quick service with a smile. Sushi is fresh, Ramen is very delicious and flavorful. I can drink the broth by itself. But all and all, "It's a must go check out." ... This was family time!!!Parking: Yes, you still have to pay the parking meter on the weekends. I'm just telling you now. CPD is down the street...“
“I LOVE takoyaki but it's almost impossible to find on the South Side. This was perfect. Soft and savory. The crispy chicken ramen was flavorful and plentiful. A quiet and serene environment. Our for was served quickly and it was piping hot! I would definitely recommend.“
“Finally had a chance to visit the new location…new for us and probably a yr old for most lolThey used to be in this small space where I believe had only 10 tables including two big tables…there always 2hrs wait so u need to be here before 530pm to get a table LOL even carry out is an hour or two wait….(weekends)Now with a bigger space, much better! I think there like 8 smaller tables and 4 big table + two rooms for private dining…The food is probably one of the best in Chicago if not the best! Forget MH, its not for Chinese ppl lol they are expensive for below average food and small portion lolThis place, the price is reasonable and OK portion and the food are very yummy! We have two adult here and two kids under 7. We ordered our usual….two lobster w/ rice, stir fried clams, a veggie dish, fried pork, a noodles dish, three dessert and a chinese medicine drink….Vegetarian options: Only a few vegetarian optionsParking: It's china town!! Very difficult to find parking especially there is no Lot lolKid-friendliness: Kids love the dessert but no kid menuWheelchair accessibility: Front door not automatic“
“This place was amazing!!! Started off with the honey smoked salmon wrap and tuna tartare dish, it was light and delicious. We also tried the pineapple shrimp and chicken fried rice, it was spicy and sweet at same time. The pai thai noodles was bursting w flavor. This place reached our expectations. We will definitely be “
“So glad Bonchon in Tinley Park is now open. We visited for the first time on 3/7/24. The Manager, Charlie, is very nice. The Korean Fried Chicken brushed with the Soy Garlic is delicious. So is the complimentary side of pickled radish. We also tried the Tteokbokki, which was too spicy for us, and the Bulgogi Fries, which were also delicious. Looking forward to our next visit!“
“I generally love this place, but not today. My lettuce wraps came with one wilted piece of lettuce.Apparently, i arrived during a shift change. Bartender took my drink order than proceeded to cash out other people and clean up.It wasn't until 10 minutes later when another person came in who then took my drink/food order. Not even a glass of water or explanation while I waited.Get it together!“
“We have gone her so many times. This place never disappoints us. The ladies are super nice. Food is served fast. They also pack the left overs for you. They also have vegetarian options. They have these super delicious almond cookies they give along with the fortune cookies.Thr decorations inside are unique and give a nice cozy look.Occasionally there are free music shows. One night there was Rod Stewart. We didn’t know about him, but we checked later. He is a celebrity of sorts.“
“Food is very good, authentic and better than so many suburban Chinese restaurants. Whenever I’m downtown from the suburbs I try and carry out. Good sized portions. Been ordering for years from there. Just make sure they get your order correct, they make a fair amount of mistakes.Egg foo young is great, so is hot and sour soup“
“An Asian fusion restaurant that serves some delicious food. The food here was pretty good, but I was a bit skeptical since I love Asian cuisine and it's hard to find authentic food in Dallas, and I figured this place was way down south and it wouldn't be as good as I thought. I was so wrong because the food and service were outstanding. It's a cute little Asian bistro with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Whenever I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back. My apologies, but I forgot to take a few pictures. Some amazing drinks were served alongside Mongolian Beef, Crunch Rolls, and Pot Stickers.“
“It was my first time ever going. I will definitely be back again. It was packed but we were seated pretty fast we waited maybe 10-15minutes. The only thing I didn't like was the parking lot connected to the movie theater and parking was hard to find.“
“Been here multiple times for the all you can eat sushi special and will definitely be coming back for more.I can only eat like two specialty rolls and some appetizers but find it still cheaper to do AYCE vs pay per each roll. If you can eat a lot more than it’s definitely worth it.They only offer the AYCE during lunch until 3pm and they don’t offer it on major holidays so it’s something to keep in mind if you’re coming here for that.Sushi is great and the staff is very nice and attentive. Check this place out because you won’t regret it!Also, I’ve gotten takeout multiple times and have never had a problem or issue with my order.“
