“This is one of my favorite vegan Mexican restaurants. Chef Patricia is so sweet. I almost always get the Carne Asada burrito but I’ve loved everything I have tried. The nachos & tacso are so good too. The peanut butter cookies are probably the best I’ve ever had. I love the chocolate mini Bundt cake.“

“This has quickly become my new favorite lunch spot in the city! Sam, the owner, is constantly creating and you can see his passion in this! The bagels, cream cheese, challah, sandwiches, crumb cake, I can go on and on how good this stuff is. He also takes the time to connect with customers which makes the experience even more special. I am so happy I have a new favorite lunch spot to go to!“

“We just hosted our 50th high school reunion the other evening John and his staff could not have been more accommodating to us. They cheerfully answered every question, made certain everything was perfect and served us delicious food. I honestly think this place is an absolute gem. “From the moment we stepped into this incredible Arab restaurant, we were welcomed with the kind of warmth and hospitality that made us feel like family. The atmosphere was inviting and beautifully decorated, but it was the service—and especially the owner—that truly made this experience unforgettable. The food was absolutely phenomenal. What truly set this restaurant apart, though, was the hospitality. The owner personally came over to greet us and made sure my entire family was comfortable and well taken care of. It’s rare to find someone who treats guests with such heartfelt attention. This was a memorable experience. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for not just incredible food, but also to be treated with the kind of warmth and generosity that leaves a lasting impression. We will absolutely be returning“

“I had her food when she was on 87th East of Ashland and it was Good then. This past Sunday I ate it again for Soul Food Sundays and it was as even Better. I had the Perch Fish with Red beans and Rice and Mac and Cheese and My Brother had the Fried Lamb Chops with yams and Red beans and Rice. 💯 Everything thing was Good. Thank you Shawanda“

“We have been lucky to attend this hall on multiple occasions from a production company standpoint. The hall is not the best for sound reinforcement as you will need a separate rig pointed to where the main entrance is to ensure you will have even coverage for all patrons. However, it is a minor detail that with the right professional shouldn't be a problem. The catering was very good and the space looked very nice. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a nice event space.“

“Wow is all I can say. You provided amazing box lunches for JMD Angels Foundation annual board retreat. One of our board members, Errika Williams, sponsored our lunch and made an excellent choice! The lunches were fully packed with more than enough food. We enjoyed a salad and fruit cup, a slice of cake, chips, pop and a very delicious sandwich. Everyone raved about the food. Thank so much! “It's a shame that there are so few of these delis left in the area; there used to be three or four along a couple of miles of Archer down here (including Bobak's), but I guess the demographics no longer supports them. It was a joy to find this place by accident.We go to this tiny place mainly for the beet borscht, bigos (to DIE for!), and pierogis. I smiled when I noticed they actually have wooden barrels of kapusta and pickled cukes wedged into a rear corner.They have all different kinds of fresh pierogi and, for such a small space, a pretty good sausage/meat selection. I know very little about East European sausage names, but it would probably be wise to call ahead if you are looking for a certain kind.“
“Alonti did a great job catering a 2-day event. They work with small and larger orders, the food was excellent, and they made the whole process extremely easy, which is key. I would recommend them to anyone in the Chicago area with catering needs.“

“I love this place, I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, some of my very first paychecks were spent here. The girl at the window even congratulated me after I bought a new car recently. Today I picked up food, honestly just really exhausted after working all day, and I didn’t remember to ask for extra sauce, but when I got home she already knew who I was and made sure I had what I wanted and it’s just a nice feeling. 🫶“

“I had the BEST experience with Honey's Chicken! I had to place a large order for catfish fillets for my wedding, and the owner actually came out to assist me with the order. He and his staff were very nice and accommodating. Not only were they nice, but the fish was AMAZING! I had to scramble to make sure my husband and I had fish. I'm truly grateful for the service. You guys are a blessing. Much success to you.“

She went above and beyond for our special day. We had some extra guests, and she handled it very well.
The two rooms used were perfect as we had a separate wedding.
