I haven't had any opportunity to visit this location in years but my server (the owner) gently reminded me of her previous location in Chicago's Coast on Dearborn Street and immediately my memory was jarred.

This particular location is convenient if you live in Printer's Row (South Loop) and the menu is diverse featuring traditional Thai curry dishes, noodle 🍜 entrees, rice dishes, wonderful soup 🍲 and various seafood options including sushi 🍣 and sashimi.

Nice restaurant. All the sushi looks so good, but we came for the Thai food.
Amarit is a nice restaurant in a convenient location in the South Loop. We really enjoyed the food, which felt genuinely authentic. We visited with a friend from Thailand, and he also endorsed the restaurant as authentic.

We tried several dishes, including basil chicken, beef salad, pork belly, crab fried rice, spring rolls, and tom yum soup. One thing we particularly appreciated was that the food was not overly salty, allowing us to taste the natural flavors of the ingredients....read full review
