Meli Cafe is my favorite brunch spot to grab breakfast foods! They have a unique menu that offers options that don't feel super heavy! The portions are large and they have a great selection of drinks (juices, morning cocktails, coffee). The inside feels like a slightly upscale diner and the servers are friendly/attentive!
This place is absolutely amazing for breakfast and lunch!! My friends and I stayed at Hotel Blake for St Patricks weekend and loved going here nearly every day for breakfast. Everything we had on the menu was fresh and cooked to perfection. I've truly never seen eggs poached or scrambled so perfectly plump and fluffy!! Great place for breakfast or brunch. I've been to Chicago 10 times and have tried a lot of things. Meli Cafe was the best. Good atmosphere, friendly service and quick service. Exactly what you need for breakfast. The selection is large, from tart to sweet dishes and the portions are just as large. It was delicious. Next time I visit Chicago, I'll go back to Meli Cafe.
