My friend and I came to the restaurant for dinner tonight! Two different waitresses attempted to wait on us but neither did a good job! It took 45 minutes to get our drinks! And then another 30 minutes to get our food! We never got the pizza that we ordered and the food we did get tasted awful! This was such a bad experience!

Bar Sol is a new restaurant on Chicago's Navy Pier, with few reviews so far, so I'd like to sing its praises and note that it's definitely worth trying. Three of us were aimlessly wandering the Pier last week after having wrapped up a business trip, and about to lose hope that we'd find any suitable lunch options there (after having paid a fortune for parking! hot tip: park elsewhere, plenty of places within walking distance) but then Bar Sol appeared. I had 2 tacos, 1 fish and 1 shrimp; one colleague had the mussels, another the quesadillas, and we shared an order of fries. All servings were generous and really, truly delicious. The waitstaff was attentive and personable, and the atmosphere relaxed.
