I've tried to come here a couple of times for dinner (like after the Argyle street fest) but it was wayyy too busy, and I didn't want to wait. But I figured if it was so busy, it must be good! And I was right! We went for lunch on a weekend and were easily seated without a wait. Cafe Hoang has a pretty big menu and there are a lot of dishes where you can choose tofu as your protein. I literally only come here for their Bún bò Huế because I believe this is the best one in Little Vietnam/Argyle.I don’t love that this place doesn’t play music, because it can be extremely quiet in here - especially during off peak dining hours. The ambiance would be a bit better if there was actual music. It’s also BYOB from the last time I was there - hope it stays the same!

My friend and I drove 40 minutes just to have the bún bò huế here. It tastes phenomenal, and service was very fast. I came on a weekday after peak lunch hour (2pm-ish), so no waiting line.
