Stopped by around noon and the place was buzzing. Grabbed an Italian sub on their fresh-baked bread and a slice of the potato pizza. Had to grab a cannoli for later, obviously, ricotta filling was super light and not overly sweet. Love the old-school counter service and fast line. Absolute West Town staple.
D’Amato’s is dangerous in the best possible way 😂 You walk in thinking, “I’ll just grab a sandwich,” and somehow leave with bread, pizza, cookies, and enough food for a small family. Everything is fresh and ridiculously good. The chicken Caesar sub alone is worth the trip. Come hungry and don’t even pretend you have self-control. Highly recommend!
Had the Cesar sub and it was likely one of the best subs I’ve ever had.
