The mango refresher was one of my favorites. It’s almost like a mango sparkling drink—-really went well with the food! Definitely my new fav sandwich spot in town!“

“Sandwiches and subs are super delicious. I tried the grilled chicken panini and some of colleagues had Italian beef sandwich. We all liked the taste. The best part came at the end of the meal, I loved the authentic espresso and coffee they sell here. If you really want to try original Italian espresso this is a must visit in this area. The prices are affordable.“

“Unique variety of latte options that aren’t overly sweet. Both the Dubai chocolate latte and date cardamom latte were a hit. We didn’t try the pastry’s, but they looked amazing! Nice atmosphere with board games, although the games were a little messy and might be missing a few pieces.“

“These folks were at the Lincoln Square farmer’s market yesterday, and their fare was so enticing my dog stole bread right off of their table. I had one of their onion bagels - delicious and competes easily with Russ & Daughters or H&H bagel in NYC. I will be back, but Olive will have to stay home next time. “I’ve been going here now regularly for a year and it’s such a pleasure to have an authentic Jewish Deli here in Wicker/Bucktown area. Phenomenal bagels/bialy, but I really come back regularly for the Reuben. They take pride in their work and like the sandwiched sky high with fresh incredients. Usually one sandwich and a bag of chips makes it 2 meals for me, and the flavor is delicious.“

“Absolutely adored this local sandwich spot! I came in from out of town and ate everywhere from ballpark hotdogs to five-star dining, and Brett’s Kitchen still stood out. The chipotle steak sandwich was incredible, and the pasta fazoli soup instantly transported me back to when my grandmother used to make it. That kind of comfort food connection is rare — and this place nailed it.

“Their tomato bisque soup is the best I’ve had. I shoulda gotten the large. Expected a something red, puréed, and hot to get me through this rainy fall day. It’s creamy, smooth, right amount of cheese and tender veggies to make it a moment. I wanna eat this everyday.

Eggplant parm is also perfect. Crunchy, chewy, hearty, choice of giardiniera, mmm! I’ll try the veggie sub next.

“Being from NY these bagels are an amazing find. Cream cheeses are delish and the staff is so friendly. Go whenever I visit my daughter. Trying the frozen take home and bake myself bagels and can’t wait!!!“

“5 stars for the Drago kabobs. I moved further away so whenever I come out this way, I like to stock up. This time, I had a friend join me. The meat cooler is always stocked with pre-packaged bags of shish kabobs. I always get the original and it never disappoints. I have used then for traditional kabobs or in an air fryer. I have even used the meat to make tacos and quesadillas - solid flavor and great texture. One day, I will try the other flavors, but the traditional keeps me coming back for more. Well done, Baltimore Food and Liquors.“

“The best goulash and meat products.They do smoke the sausage and salmon here. Steaks are high quality, aged well.

“It's a shame that there are so few of these delis left in the area; there used to be three or four along a couple of miles of Archer down here (including Bobak's), but I guess the demographics no longer supports them. It was a joy to find this place by accident.We go to this tiny place mainly for the beet borscht, bigos (to DIE for!), and pierogis. I smiled when I noticed they actually have wooden barrels of kapusta and pickled cukes wedged into a rear corner.They have all different kinds of fresh pierogi and, for such a small space, a pretty good sausage/meat selection. I know very little about East European sausage names, but it would probably be wise to call ahead if you are looking for a certain kind.“

Unfortunately now as a adult the food is a hit or miss. COVID-19 really hit this place hard I believe but I believe slowly stuff with get better and I'll continue to support my childhood deli“
