Islands Cafe was deeeee-lish and Asel, the woman who works there, was very nice, provided excellent customer service and is a really good cook! I got a chicken sandwich (that came with plantain chips and garlic oil) and a passion fruit tea with strawberry popping. O. M. G! Everything so good! I had the pleasure of stumbling upon this gem located in a strip mall with dunkin & with off street parking. I had a great Cuban sandwich, a pineapple sushi with mango popping balls and a short but pleasant conversation with the owner. When I visit the windy city again this will definitely be a go to!

I'm glad I took a chance and went in. They have more milk tea options than it would seem, and I was happy they had a simple oolong option. The staff was pleasant and the woman working there was nice enough to walk my drink out to me when it was done. Would happily continue supporting
