“I am eating a strawberry donut I bought ten minutes ago as I write this! I've been dying to stop at D&D's forever, so I brought my son today to get some donuts. The donuts are all HUGE and beautiful. She gave us free samples of the donut holes to try which my son loved. She explained every flavor and how long they keep and that we can freeze them.

These are the best donuts I've ever had!!! And I've had donuts all over Chicago. They're unbelievably soft and delicate. There is real fruit in the icing. This strawberry donut tastes like a fresh strawberry. My son had a great time and she was so kind to him. We will be back!! I want to try the massive apple fritter. 😭❤️“

“We were celebrating my son’s birthday and he prefers donuts over cake. Specifically, Maple bars. I stopped in and bought over a dozen donuts. People in line were probably upset with me BUT I had to get them. They were a hit after dinner.“

“We stopped here based on a must try list and were pleasantly surprised at how good they were. They didn’t have the largest selection but each was very unique. Pricing was a bit high ($12 something for the birthday cake) and it was a little on the sweet side. Also the store is very small so if there were more than a couple customers, expect to wait outside. Overall we were happy trying it out and if you haven’t had it, having it at least once is recommended!“

“While Stan's may be a chain, I wanted to take the time to write a review for this specific location and specifically a worker named Bobby. When I was about to order, a man who was very under the influence and acting very aggressively came into the store. Everyone was on edge, but with resolve and professionalism, Bobby approached the man and escorted him out with poise. He deescalated a very intense moment and returned to help us with our order right away. I was very grateful for Bobby and the way he protected customers. PLUS! My drink was awesome, ahah“

“Stumbled across this gem today with my children and what a treat! Very fresh and tasty donuts. What added to the experience was friendly customers who were patient with me and my picky kids. We were being typical newbies and needed time to get our order straight. Not only were they patient, they also were sooo sweet and secretly picked up everything we ordered. My kids and I could not stop talking about how nice of a gesture and how good it felt. Kids told me before bed, that today was the best day ever. “Definitely great yummy food here. My friend lives off of Addison. The donuts, coffee and breakfast sandwiches are so good. I live in the suburbs in Aurora Naperville area and it’s always a treat for me to stop by and get Do-Rite donuts. Maybe one day there will be a Do-Rite donuts in Aurora/Naperville area in the future. I actually stopped at Do-Rite earlier today as I was in Chicago for the Cubs game. Keep up the great work everyone. You all make very good food. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to Do-Rite donuts.“

“I’ve been here several times over the last few years and my family loves their donuts and especially the apple fritters. I wanted a slice of pizza and decided to try theirs . I wish I hadn’t. It seemed to be a cheap frozen box pizza only suitable for late night consumption by inebriated college students. Do go to Chicos and enjoy their donuts but skip the pizza. Your stomach will thank you.“

“I first tried Dat Donut over 10 years ago! And loved it!! I wasn't able to have them very much because the original location was to far for me, but I saw this location a few days ago, and I had to stop by for a taste. The original glazed donut is just perfect! Super soft, lightly glazed, not overly sweet. I am going to try the other donuts and treats within time. But please stop by and try the glazed donut for sure!“

“Just went to a hidden neighborhood café and WOW… everything was surprisingly SO good! 🥯🥟🍓☕

We tried their smoothies, bagel sandwich, and empanadas — and every single thing was amazing. Their smoothies are made with real fruit, super fresh, healthy, and refreshing 🍓🍌🥭

The empanadas completely stole the show though! I brought my friend who has lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years, and she said these are the BEST empanadas she’s ever had in Chicago! The crust is unbelievably thin, crispy, and crunchy at the same time, and the filling is packed with flavor 🤤

I also loved their bagel sandwich — perfectly toasted, crunchy, crispy, and so well made. And honestly… the prices are unbelievably reasonable for the quality you get.

They even have their own locally roasted coffee beans! ☕ We’re huge coffee drinkers and always on the lookout for freshly roasted beans, so of course we had to grab two bags to take home. We can’t wait to try them!

We’re all about supporting local small businesses ❤️ My friend said she never even knew this place existed in her own neighborhood, and now she’s planning to bring all her friends and family here!

“Im giving them a 5 star review not based off my preference but based off my experience. My friend and I are in town for the weekend. I prefer a more light and airy doughnut and my friend prefers thicker doughnuts. I ordered a blueberry cake and a raspberry filled glazed. She order the Homer Simpson and the vanilla sprinkles. The blueberry cakes doughnut was an average doughnut size and it tasted okay (I’ve had better). All other doughnuts are T Rex size lol.
If you like thicker heavier doughnuts, then you’ll most likely love these.
If you like a doughnut that’s not too sweet, these are the ones for you. Most of the doughnuts themselves don’t have sweetness in the dough. All the flavor and sweetness is in the icing that’s laid on top.
I’m giving them 5 stars because the restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, customer service was great, and if these are the type of doughnuts you like, then you’ll most likely like these.
BONUS: they do have a vegan friendly menu as well with about 8-10 different flavors.

“I love the space! Pastries and coffees are great. I always get the Maple Latte, which is the best of its kind. Prices have been going up quite a bit, but it’s still worth it to me, for now. It’s really the perfect shop for the community. The outside seating is wonderful, too!“

“I had to do this review because of the two beautiful and professional ladies by the name of Marquita and Sabrina. Sabrina is the general manager and Marquita is the supervisor. It doesn’t matter what their titles are because they both worked as a team when I walked in there this morning. I felt like I was in the South where people speak to you and greet you. “I had one of the most friendliest interactions I've ever had in a dunkin! The worker that was shcudled today at 7 pm had such a friendly attitude that I couldn't help but wish her the best! I ordered 2 green teas and she explained that it's going to come out hot because she barely made it. “Loved this coffee shop! The chorizo and cheese empanada were delicious, especially with the sauce on the side. Breakfast sandwich with pesto was perfectly toasted and toppings balanced nicely. I tried the “banana pancake” coffee, which was not too sweet and very creamy! My friend tried the “butter me up”, which was delicious. I would recommend getting an extra shot of espresso with the drinks!“
