“My friend brought me here as she's been wanting to try brunch after having a wonderful dinner experience. This brunch was INCREDIBLE! We sat at the bar since we didn't book table resys in advance (our bad) but we felt well taken care of by the staff. They checked on us regularly and made sure we were good, as if we were at a table with wait service.
We did the bottomless mimosas and they made sure to keep our glasses full, never had to ask for a refill. Our meals were delicious, we both had the carne asada bowl and I added a side of plantains. Skirt steak was cooked to perfection.
The best part of our trip was the family atmosphere, you can tell they take pride in what they are providing for customers. I would definitely come back again and will be bringing my family for the experience.“

“The concept for the menu is a unique trip along the Pan-American highway with stops at various Latin countries. Each dish and drink is thoughtful in its ingredients and presentation. The jicama salad was refreshing, but not at all plain. The pastel de choclo was a wonderful surprise of a warm dish. The frozen el arenal was seriously dangerous in how delicious it was, I can’t recommend it enough. The atmosphere was beautiful and the music was perfect. We are so thrilled to have this gem in the neighborhood and can’t wait to see what they do in the future!“

“DO NOT MISS THE HAPPY HOUR! We were absolutely thrilled to find FULL SIZE PORTIONS on the Happy Hour menu! $7 food selections, $7 cocktails, $4 draft beer! We ordered the Nachos, the Carne Asada Tacos, and the Ceviche. The tacos were STUFFED with meat! Our server Victor, just absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgeable! A pleasure to have them helping us! Excellent experience in all ways, we WILL be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Food was absolutely delicious - i had the Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo (Garlic Shrimp) and the whole thing was 10/10. Washed it down with a really good classic margarita, which was HUGE and strong in all the right ways. Our server was a gem, she was so nice and attentive and the food was fast to come out. The patio was spacious and calm, and with the sounds of local families and music floating in it felt very neighborhoody - which i love. Overall a great small business to come and support in person if you're able.“

“As a luxe wedding photographer, CARNIVALE in Chicago is basically my favorite place to work ever. Imagine a rainbow exploded in a jungle—that’s what this venue looks like, and every corner is photogenic chaos in the best way possible! FLORALS, NEON SIGNS, STREET ART: the works. The layout is perfect for capturing wild dance-floor shots, intimate couple moments, and all the shenanigans in between. It's just So. Much. Fun! The food? So good that by the end of the night, I may or may not have needed to be rolled out to my car by the staff (still worth it). Best wedding food I've ever indulged in, and that's saying a lot considering I've been in the bizzz for 15 years. Guests are singing their lungs out, dancing like no one’s watching, and basically creating the kind of joyful, colorful, chaotic energy every photographer dreams of capturing. “We were here a couple of years ago and planning on going hopefully this weekend (I'm from Chicago but live overseas for work). The food was amazing and the atmosphere, music, dancing was a lot of fun and not where you felt you were being picked up or come on to all the time...it was a nice place. Can't wait to go again.“

“This is my first time eating Ecuadorian food and I'm impressed! I got the Bandera con Gautita, arroz, y seco de pollo. Chicken & tripe stew with rice. Also a bowl of Chicken Caldo. The Bandera is a delight, I love tripe but having it with a peanut sauce with rice is addicting. The Caldo is eaten with rice, not tortillas that many North Americans are accustomed to. Overall, I am coming back and bringing friends with me“

“Had an amazing meal here last night. There were four of us and we each ordered a different entree so we can have a taste of each entree. We started with ceviche and empanadas. So delicious! Then our meals came…. And OMG! Each entree was so different and amazing! Everything is made from scratch sauces dressings etc. We ended the meal with the dessert and all tried something different. Everything we eat was incredible! The restaurant is so warm and cozy… the same feeling I got from ourmeal. It’s BYOB so bring your favorite drink and try this place. I promise you… you will not be disappointed!“

“I've been here a few times now. There's no wait for a table, you sit yourself anywhere. Parking on the street, I typically walk no more than a block. Service is good. They serve water in styrofoam cups which I found odd but, water tastes fresh and refreshing. Prices on food are expensive with the average being like $20 for a plate. The food is very delicious. We had empanadas, morocho, salmon and broiled chicken. The portions are massive and the food is very very good. They give complementary platano chips which are always bomb. I'd give this place 5 stars if the prices were a little lower. Highly recommend!“

“Had a great time at dinner! My group did the Leap of Faith with a few requests, and we left very satisfied. The food was incredible, but I was motivated to write a review because of the service. The whole team that looked after us -- especially our server Dane L. -- did a fantastic job. We were impressed by how super attentive everybody was and we felt completely taken care of throughout the entire meal. Looking forward to visiting again. Get the noodles!“

“Some of the best carnitas I've had in the city for sure. They were flavorful and the pieces selected were pretty good. I did ask for meat only(no skin,no stomach, etc) and I received some of the stuff I didn't want but all in all really good. I was taken care of promptly and efficient. The three start atmosphere rating is based on some standoffish behavior from the locals.“
