Best tamales in Chicago. I would say I live all the way up north and I travel all the way out west just to make sure I get a taste of these tamales the green chicken tamales are definitely a great start. Aside from the tamales everything there is so delicious and authentic.
I should have read the reviews first. However, my friend said the food is good. The food was tasty. Order the huaraches of steak, Chile relleno and a gordita of presado the green salsa is very good. No customer service at all. The huskier lady serving us was not rude but definitely not service friendly. The bill came it was 29$ before ALL fees and taxes that brought the bill to 39$! ? asked about the charges and was told 10% to dine in, 4% to use credit or debit and I didn't get...read full review

I got the baby on 3 Kings Day, so I had to purchase the tamales for El Dia de la Candelaria (Candlemas Day). I placed an order the day before and it was ready at the time I requested for pickup. The staff were friendly as well. I ordered an assortment of the tamales: rajas, red/green, pork/chicken, and sweet tamales. My coworkers loved them all. The tamales were all delicious. I highly recommend.
