a little expensive but good food fast service charging stations
Very disappointing experience at this McDonald’s location today.
After visiting the children’s museum with my kid, we stopped by for food and ordered a mini McFlurry as part of the order. Staff told me the order was ready, so I picked it up and left the counter. About 10 minutes later, I realized they forgot to give me the McFlurry.

Absolutely delectable and fast, but we (my flatmate and I) only got 19 nuggets in our 20 piece and we were too scared to say something. Plus no free refills in Chicago.

McDonald's near Chicago Children's Museum offers good food and a pleasant staff. The ambiance is nice, but the vibe can sometimes feel off, especially during busy times. The staff might forget items occasionally, but overall the food is appetizing and tasty. Even with long lines, they handle crowds well and get special orders right quickly. The restaurant is located inside Navy Pier, providing open seating in a warm environment with recycling bins, trash, and bathrooms, making it comfortable and easy to enjoy a meal. Prices are a bit higher than in non-touristy areas, but customers can still use app deals for a good meal. Charging stations are available for free. During busy times, like Saturday evenings, the pick-up area can be chaotic, with long waits and a lack of structured process, but staff do call out numbers to help customers find their orders. Overall, it’s a convenient spot for a quick snack or meal while visiting Navy Pier.
