The Hangge-Uppe is a Chicago landmark known for endless fun memories in a relaxed environment. The staff is kind and responsive, often going the extra mile to return lost items, such as keys and phones. Customers appreciate the awesome vibes and feel-good atmosphere, especially in the old school area downstairs. The bar is a great late-night spot filled with good energy and fun conversations. While there may be some bathroom inconveniences, the bar offers good drinks and a fun atmosphere for a night out in Chicago. The music selection is mostly enjoyable, featuring throwbacks and current pop/rnb/hiphop, although there can be some issues with song transitions. Overall, The Hangge-Uppe remains a favorite dive bar and nightclub in the city.
