“This is a fine neighborhood staple. I frequent Mondays when not traveling for work. Orla is generally bartender and an absolute wonderful person. Owen one of the owners I had met in the past is also great as well as the entire staff. The food is better than what you would get in a bar as they pride themselves on a grand quality with great price points. Typically not seen in many Chicago establishments.

The dog friendly patio is massive. Introducing both high top and regular tables. They have a large indoor dining area separate from the bar area. It's great for family dinners, parties and more. Get in there and get some food, a properly poured Guinness goes a long way here, I don't even think Guinness pours em like Gideon Welles does!!!“

We ended up coming back around 7 pm for dinner and I have to say… it was a stellar choice. Willow was a delightful human to serve us. We picked a seat in the window, it was a romantic and cozy vibe. “Hit up Bar Louie in University Village last week and had a blast. Ordered the Louie Flatbread and the Wagyu Burger with a classic martini plus a local craft brew. Flatbread was crispy and flavorful, burger was juicy with the perfect char, and drinks hit the spot. Staff were chill and fast, happy‑hour deals made it even better. Great spot to hang with friends!“

We NEVER had to ask for food to be brought out as they kept up with it all and replenished as needed. We had a dedicated bartender who was great. “I just hosted my wedding at Chief O’Neill’s on Saturday and it could not have been more perfect. Siobhan and her team took amazing care of us! The venue is stunning, the food is phenomenal, and every one of our guests was gushing about how impressed they were by everything! The back beer garden is so magical, you would have thought we spent tens of thousands of dollars to dress it up, but we didn’t need to. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue to host a wedding, party, shower, or intimate event, you should definitely give them a visit!“

We were mostly there for bowling and arcade games so the kids still enjoyed themselves! And music bingo was fun. Last thing - driving/parking in that general vicinity is horrible!! Beware.“

Second - They quickly accommodated our group of 15 on a Thursday after our original location fell through. They made it work very well!

Third - For those looking for a location that's great for a group all taking different trains, it's very hard to beat this location in OTC.
