“I heard a lot about this place through out the years! I have tried to stop in but for 1 reason or another it was closed so let’s dive into this review. Incredible Fantastic Phenomenal Amazing Spectacular Food! Freddy’s is the Famiglia on Holidays and your Nona’s and Zia’s all cooking pumping out hot fresh delicious food from all the Kitchens
(typically 2 in most Italian households 1 upstairs and 1 in bashement) lol 😂
Freddy’s is like I went back to 1990’s St.Calistus St.Joseph’s table. Stop in the Food Service and Establishment all live up to its promises. You can not have a bad meal here.

“Always friendly and customer service is top notch. Never had a bad experience and I get custom crepes all the time and they are PERFECT! I suggest the crepe with lechera, caramel, strawberries and granola! So good! I will continue to go every time I could. Thank staff at Rico“

“At Taste of Chicago, I had my first Mangonado, which I adored. I then came across Los Mangos and their sign for Mangonado. I went there with my accomplice, my uncle, and their mangonado was wonderful. It was quite gratifying to combine fresh mango, frozen mango, and the chile flavorings that they add. Their creations are all entirely natural. Our new stop for sweet goodies is here.“

Why I Love It:
• Drive-thru option? YES, PLEASE! Super convenient when you’re on the go.
• My go-to? Corn on a stick with everything + lime. Always hits the spot.
• My family loves their corn in a cup—it’s a must!
• Chicharrones with salsa & lime? Absolute perfection.
Food & Variety:
• So many options for everyone in the family!
• Sweet cravings? They’ve got high-quality ice cream with tons of flavors.
• Spicy cravings? They have chips, chicharrones, and snacks with salsa & lime.
• Smoothies & hot drinks are available, making it a great spot year-round.
Customer Service & Atmosphere:
• Friendly and welcoming staff (depending on who you get, of course).
• Clean restaurant & restrooms.
• One minor thing—I’m not a fan of how strong the cleaning product smells inside, but hey, at least they keep it spotless!

“The location is Central to a Main Street and the CTA orange Line Cicero station is right here, and there is free open parking in a big strip mall and the store has ice cream both dine in and dine out containers as well as cake and the donuts and coffee and drinks and smoothies. Do you have a lot of variety here and the staff are friendly and nice and they do have free bathrooms. I don’t know why people are so mean and write such terrible news. I appreciate that when I want to eat ice cream and I have a choice of favors and I don’t wanna eat it at home This is a great place to come and sit down and have some fun with your family or friends or go by yourself. Remember that people in the service interest you work very hard and please be kind to them. Yes the neighborhood is not the Gold Coast but most people are hard working and pay their bills and want a nice time having ice cream and a shake and coffee and donuts. So don’t mind the area… it’s just life and community. The staff helping me was a nice young teen and he was sweet and kind so I tipped him but the tips all go into a jar for the pool.“

“The place was nice and clean. I was greeted immediately. The young lady was knowledgeable about the menu and polite. She informed me and asked me if I would like certain things on my funnel cake before putting anything else outside what it's served with. The Funnel Cake was fresh along with the fruit. I will be back. I recommend this place.“
