“Food was great for bar food and hot. Did take twenty five mins or so for our group put in 5 orders at once with appetizers. We were there the in afternoon. Bloody mary was good also. Was dark in the back dinning room had to use phones to see menu. Lots of menu items fried chicken burgers pizza (bar stuff). Would go back.“

“Visited the Clubhouse Coal City with former classmates tonight & had an absolutely awesome dinner. Bloody Mary was top notch & one of our friends ordered a caramel Apple Martini that looked scrumptious 🥰 I ordered the much talked about ribs & was not disappointed ❣️❣️❣️They were fall off the bone tender; dripping with deliciousness ❤️❤️The sauce was a fabulous complex of flavors that satisfies every point on your palate - a 10 star delight on a plate🤩🤩 Salad was super fresh with just the right amount of added extras 😉I ordered the mashed potatoes & again the seasoning was right on point. Service was excellent 😍 I guarantee you I will be back, with more people, as this restaurant does not disappoint!!!“

“The waffle flight was an adorable and clever idea—four mini waffles on a cute board, offering just the right amount to sample a variety of interesting flavors. They were perfectly soft and fluffy with creative toppings. I wasn’t a huge fan of the coffee flight, maybe because I ordered it hot, the flavors tasted very mild. I think it would be best to order an iced coffee flight. Wasn't a huge fan of the omlete since it was slightly overcooked. Overall, the food was okay, but I’d return just for that fun waffle flight. It’s a great spot if you’re craving playful, shareable brunch vibe.“

“Perhaps it’s the atmosphere that attracts the most. It is a reminder of past times with parents going out for the occasional meal in the neighborhood tavern. This is that local tavern with great meals and friendly service. Fortunately for some, not so for others, the aroma of stale beer and cigarettes has somehow been scrubbed from the building leaving only the smells from a great kitchen. Please understand sullen people need not eat here.“

“Cool little throwback diner that feels like stepping back into the 1950s. The food is super cheap and very affordable. They’ve got all the classic concession stand staples — burgers, fries, hot dogs, corn dogs — but it’s actually really good food. It’s also one of the historic Route 66 stops, and I’d definitely recommend checking it out.“

“Of course I recommend Culver’s- Becuz I luv Culvers food.. But tonight my drive thru girl with the glasses was anything but kind.. When I questioned her on my charge and realized I was charges for a double and nit a single. She stared me down at the window and when I said to HER “ thank you, have a good night”… she again just looked at me and closed the window.. wtf… Come on child… Its NOT the end of the world.. You have many worse worries in your future. Do you job. Be kind and courteous. Especially to those who are to YOU!!! Enjoy your night little girl!!!“

“My daughters hosted a 65th birthday party for us at Old School Brewery with Nelly’s catering. We had an odd request, as we usually get their burgers when we go there. My daughters worked with Nelly’s and planned a Burger Bar complete with toppings, potato salad, baked beans, veggies, fruit and green salad! It was amazing! We really enjoyed it and everyone seemed to enjoy it! Thank you for working with us and for making that work! So anyone planning a party and are burger fans, check out their burger bar! “The new improved whopper is exceptional and delicious. Juicy. The taste was perfect, the veggies were fresh and crisp. The only down, which isnt that big of a deal but my whopper didnt come in a box. I'd definitely purchase a whopper again, for sure.“

During the time my brother an I was there for breakfast today, we had a great waitress that had great personality, very professional, very well mannered, friendly and handled herself well and always checked her customer's on their meals. If I ever visit that restaurant again I will be happy to have her as a waitress again.“

It’s sad that they waste 20 minutes of their valuable god given time to bring people down just a bunch of low life’s if you ask me. Don’t let the low life’s comments get to you just because the girls messed up one time it’s called a mistake for a reason it’s not like it happened on purpose. If you have a problem with something just go in and ask for them to fix it. “It's a McDonalds, you know what you are getting, and they usually "hit it" (unlike the ones four miles east towards I-55 or the one three miles north towards I-80 that "miss it"). Eating here 3-4/month, there misses are usually small (assembly on special order burger, charging for extra lettuce, having to initiate the conversation when going thru the drive-thru at night, stuff like that)“
