“Went there last night to meet some friends. Had an excellent dark beer and my wife had a glass of white wine. Nice atmosphere that could be enhanced by being a little warmer however. Service was very prompt and friendly. Like going there with out of town guests as well.“

“Food was great server was awesome despite how busy they were. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is the consistency of the kitchen. My husband and I both ordered the same dish the molcajete and it was amazing but they presented it 2 different ways. Also our kids orders came out 5 minutes after ours not a huge deal but typically kids get served first and they ordered basic tacos.“

“Stopped in for the first time last night. Joined a group already seated by the fire pit and I had mentioned to my group that my beer tasted funny, than a man got up and said please let me replace it. Turns out we sat by the owners. I still would of drank it and was a but embarrassed. We will definitely be back, staff was all friendly, the band was great and they have an amazing outdoor space. “We were passing through Iowa and need to stop for the night... It was late and need to find a place to feed the our family quickly on a Saturday night(a day prior St Patrick's)... I let my fenamine child pick a place... Being a typical teen, she thought this place looks 'cool'... The woman related my marriage gave me a death stare for trusting a 'child' (she is 19) for our dinner fate... We got there roughly at 9:30pm...there were bars and happenings in the area... It was loud and lots lots of happiness... More death stare from... This place that we ate was Amazing! The food and service were just beyond our expectation for a bar?! We ordered the following: * Buffalo chicken dip(appetizer) * Blacken Fish Tacos * Sea Worthy Burger Let me say this without hesitation the appetizer has more originally and taste than any appetizers I have had in the past decade from any restaurant... My burger was a double stack cooked perfectly( medium rare - without being asked)... The fish taco was just devine - it has cut mangos! Look I know there are good restaurants out there... Seriously, this is by far the BEST food I have EVER EATEN from a bar... Did I mentioned they have live music? This place is a gem! Love to come back.“

The Delmonico cut steak was incredibly buttery and juicy, creating a warm and homey feeling when paired with the delightful bread and assorted butters. “We went here, because it was wheelchair accessible, after not being able to get inside Creative Pastry down the street.Inside there are high table tops and a dimly lighting. We were the only ones there for lunch.The wait staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The worker serving us was sweet and had good menu suggestions.Food was what you might expect from a dive bar but it satisfied us for lunch. ?We got a burger basket which was decent, chicken fingers (not a fan tasted of the pre-frozen variety) and the egg rolls (very tasty but greasy)Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly for entry but high bar- height tables. If you have a wheelchair that can rise up this won’t be a problem. ?“

“An old style restaurant which apparently lets people smoke inside if the restaurant. Went inside an it is very largr and can accommodate large parties or individuals. They have a few beers on tap and offer pepsi products for your beverage choice. Lots of burger choices for lunch. Went with the bbq pork sandwich which is topped with cole slaw and an order of fries. The bba sandwich was just ok the fries where very good. I would be willing to stop in again sometime.“

“It was my 1st time visiting Crabby's. Went out with some friends for karaoke. Such a positive warming environment. Staff was great. Everyone was welcomed. Everyone had a good time. Looking forwards to the 2 hr drive to visit again soon. Keep up the good work“

“It's nice to have MLK day off from work - three-day weekends are great from school, and their just as good in adult life. After a day spent largely across the river in Rock Island and East Moline, I took a rest at home. I needed a night cap and some dinner however. What better way to accomplish both of those things than a quick trip out to a nearby bar?I have no other reason to traverse Central Avenue in Bettendorf. I live within a 5 minute drive of Central Ave Tap, but I don't need to visit Neil Armstrong Elementary, nor is there anything else along the road for me to visit currently. I've driven by before on my way to visit friends that live in the area, just never stopped in here ever for a drink or food. Well, that changes tonight - I needed a gin and tonic and a burger before bed!There's not too much to say about Central Ave Tap. Its a bar in the bottom half of a building all to itself. There're two pool tables, a few dart boards, and a long bar that runs the whole length of the space. Newish wood laminate floor covers most of the inside, as does the newer looking drop ceiling. There's a TouchTunes jukebox along the wall - one of the new variety that lets anyone with the corresponding phone app play anything they like with the touch of a button from their phone. Suffice to say, the space is well maintained and clean.I settled at the bar on my visit and got my gin and tonic to start. They only had well gin - Fleischmann's I think? - it was fine, made a good G&T. After a quick perusal of the menu, I settled on a burger and fries, both of which I got to watch the bartender prepare right from my seat at the bar. This was a new experience for me - the stove and, really, the entire kitchen area are right there, unsegregated from the rest of the space, to watch as you please. It was actually kind of neat, plus the food came out super fresh.I enjoyed both the burger and fries. The burger was a simple pre-formed frozen patty, but it tasted fresh all the same. The fries were crinkle cut, fried to crispy perfection. The total portion size was exactly what I needed for the evening - not too much, not too little.Given a similar urge, I'd come back here for another burger. It felt kind of weird just randomly coming here. The space had the distinct feeling of being a local pup, a sort of common space for mostly those that lived close by. I hope I didn't intrude much. “We stopped in for supper. I had the grilled tenderloin and my wife had the chicken sandwich with waffle fries. Everything was cooked well with great seasoning. Their house sauce is very good-somewhat tangy and you can taste the bourbon flavoring. The food order came out quick even though the place was busy. We will definitely go back and recommend to others.“

I was almost seduced by the Station 4 Burger which promised a lot of heat, but decided to go with their famous Tug Burger instead. And it was really good. Burger patty tastes hand-made and fresh. Onion rings were the best I have had in recent memory. And the cheese fries are to die for.Service was fast and friendly despite a bit of a crowd.“
