“Our first time to eat here and it was delicious! Even the presentation was great and we were greeted by a very helpful and engaging man who I assume is the owner. Very nice atmosphere. Only suggestion would be more relaxing music and more veggies in the #5 crispy chicken bowl. Plenty of food! We will be back!”

I stopped by the store and the manager saw what I was seeing and worked with me to get my order processed (which was not easily resolved). He was very patient and helped get my order processed. “Joe K is one of the bigger breakfast restaurant's in the Alton area. A lot of seating, usually busy but not overly crowded. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Food is good with a few exceptional dishes like the breakfast pony. Breakfast pony is a biscuit with your choice of meat & egg, hash browns layered topped with sausage gravy. Delicious. Only gave a 4 star because the food came out cold.”

“Chef Travis is an amazing cook by far! We went once and he was sold out of the birria tacos, stopped by last night to catch the and ended up getting a special for the bourbon chicken he had. The sauce was so flavorful and the chicken was so tender. He shows us such great hospitality & is an amazing cook. “We live 2 hours north and were in town for a Band Competition, we stopped in to eat. Our server Jordan was fabulous. With it being our first time there the manager sent us some free deviled eggs to sample! Highly recommend the deviled eggs, so tasty! They were a little busy with several parties and took a little longer to get our food but our server was attentive and apologetic for the wait. We were not mad or upset about the wait, totally understand when it’s busy. The manager gave us a free dessert for the wait. The customer service is top notch and they seem to care about the customers. And a plus that the food is delicious!!!! Highly recommend!! We will def be back!”
