We were a little nervous at first because the host/owner came to the front desk numerous times and said just a minute, but eventually, everything was great in a very loud restaurant. “We recently had a large family party at this restaurant. It was my first time at this restaurant but not the first time having Greek food. The food was fantastic! The staff were incredible and so attentive to our party and needs.the gentlemen who worked our event were available and constantly bringing drinks. Our orders were taken perfectly and the food was delivered hot and fresh. My chicken kabobs were cooked perfectly. I wish I didn't eat so much delicious French and Italian bread with olive oil so I could try more of the vegetable dish and potatoes they served. The saganaki was mouth watering. “I had a wonderful time with my beloved cousins. The service was great and they treat you like you are their family and are just so enthusiastic. At one point there was a spontaneous spot of Greek singing with me and my cousins joining in with our server Pete!!Food was delicious, we had so many dishes which we shared in the traditional way we Greeks do and then we also had our main dish bit by then we most of us were pretty full so we took them home for later ( which my daughter enjoyed my dolmades)Love Greek Islands, hope we go again soon!!“

“Great spot for in and out service! They offer fast service while still maintaining high quality eats. Burger stand ambiance with top quality food. I've ordered from here many times, and haven't found anything I didn't like. Some of my favorites are Philly cheesesteak and Philly chicken. Both are super yummy! Gyros, burgers, Italian beef, bbq beef, all delicious. Oh, don't forget the fries. I order mine well done and they nail it spot on every time. The pizza puffs RULE! That's it dear diners, check them out and enjoy.“

“The owners made me feel like I was a regular, and had been going there for years.., but it was actually my first time eating there . The Lemon chicken soup was the best I've ever had! Went back the next day to bring some home to Missouri. (Here on vacation and wanted to share with friends when I get home) I will definitely be back. Ohh and the homemade bread they serve with the soup came out of the oven while they packaged my soup to go, and it was warm and sliced for me on the spot. “Has so many choices of food from sandwiches to sea food and regular grill food ! The only thing Abt the Italian beef it wasn't as proportioned in meat compared to Portillos for example.. Great service and lots of seating to your comfort! Will definitely come back to try other meals !“

“Overall great spot. Expected the gyro to be a bit more flavorful but it will do. Their fries were sub-par. The Greek lemon potatoes were very disappointing. The food was a bit cold when we got it. Maybe gyro was pre-cut sitting on the side? Not sure. Very laid back atmosphere, perfect for families with kids. They have Greek beer, which was a plus. Prices were reasonable.“

“While the renovations have been nice and still in progress, what makes me sad is the portion reductions. I am still a fan of the country fried steak taste despite its size reduction and more than 1/3 less of tater tots. At least the service still comes with a smile, but I'm not sure how loyal the other customers will remain. I'll make sure to take another pic of my next country fried steak plate to show the difference in comparison.“

“Such a nice restaurant. My wife suggested we go there since she used to go there often as a little girl. That's small, a local neighborhood joint which is what I really like to frequent.The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice.“

“This is a Chicago style restaurant. You go in you order at the counter and then wait for your number to be called to pick up your food. They have a very large menu with a little something for everyone. The prices are fair and the food is tasty. They offer bottled beers as well as some Mexican drinks. There is usually some sort of sport game playing on the large TV. They also have a separate gambling room. I have been here numerous times and try something different to eat each time. Overall, it's a nice place to stop and grab a quick bite to eat. The atmosphere is just a place to eat with customers ranging from people of all backgrounds. If you are in the area and need a quick bite this is a good place to go eat.“

“I swear, this place should be making a killing off of their teas alone. The most flavorful teas I've had compared to most other boba places I've been. I got a Thai milk tea from a donut place, then came straight here when I tasted that flavorless milk tea because I knew they wouldn't disappoint. I've had at least half of their teas at this point, and none have missed.The food is just a huge bonus. Firstly, I'm so glad that they have kimchi; it's really good! Secondly, I know egg drop soup is usually on the more subtle side, but this was the most appetizing egg drop soup I've ever had (then again, I've been to no Michelin Star restaurants). Third, it's a clean place and the staff is friendly! Fourth, and most importantly for me, none of their seafood dishes so far have had that "may or may have expired" taste. The shrimp and scallops are always fresh tasting! I don't know what I'd do if this place closed for some reason.“

“Four of us had dinner last night and this Greek says it was some of THE BEST Greek food I've ever had. Saganaki, Calamari, Lamb Shank, Salmon and Pasta, Gryos with Greek Fries, Chicken Skewers. Everything was INCREDIBLE. The potatoes were the best I've had. The rice was so good. Bakalava cheesecake and Galactobutico was amazing. The food was so good I took another dish home with me for another night. The prices were very fair and the portions were huge. The decor is a black and white motif. It was very comfortable next to the fireplace. Our server Christina was great. Highly recommend Opa and I'm getting the whole family to go for Easter“

“I was working near by Zorbas so we stopped in to try them out for lunch and I am so thankful that we did. I tried the gyro melt because I have not had one in 30 years since high-school and let me tell you WOW! The gryo melt was absolutely amazing so amazing I came back the next day for another one smh so good along with the friendly family that owns the place they are so nice and polite they a have a new coustemer in me with great food great people and a great price your cant go wrong so if your ever in the area give Zorbas a try you will not be disappointed!“

“Late dinner on a Monday night. Got served fast, had ribs dinner and a steak dinner. Salad that comes with dinner is not fancy, but good portion. Baked bread was excellent. The ribs were fall off the bone done and the steak was done perfectly. Took the desserts home.“

As for the food, I ordered their classic gyro wrap, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, the tzatziki sauce was creamy and flavorful, and the pita bread was warm and soft. The portion size was generous, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, I highly recommend Skippy Gyros to anyone craving authentic and tasty Greek cuisine!“
