“just ate here and it was absolutely incredible. The wait staff were very energetic and outgoing as well as helpful. The food was delicious and the portions very large. their salsa and horchata are my favorites out of everywhere I have been. I also loved the mariachi music and the overall atmosphere. for sure a 10/10“
“I've been to the poke bros in another location and was excited when I found out there was one in McHenry. It's the same great food. Consistent in quality and customer service.Parking: The parking lot is rough but there's plenty of space to park.“
“Hidden Gem Alert! Bonefish Grill on Randall Rd. surprised me with its delicious seafood and attentive service. We went on a Friday night, and the place was buzzing. Everything we ordered was excellent, and our server was on top of things throughout the meal. Definitely a great choice for a memorable night out.“
“This place is a true hidden treasure! My boyfriend and I discovered it for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of the staff despite their small numbers. The margaritas were absolutely delicious and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal!“
“Kiefs reef is a fun clean and friendly establishment. My family and I often come here and are treated like family. The service is amazing the food is great and the atmosphere is very inviting. The waitresses and staff are wonderful. Couldnt ask for a better home town bar and restaurant.“
“Mori Sushi got me all confused after the first bite. It was about 9p.m. when we arrived, and I was surprised it wasn't jam packed in here. Nestled in the Cedar Ridge plaza on Algonquin Rd. with plenty of parking, come check this place out for some authentic sushi rolls and Nigiri. We tried these rolls as pictured: Rainbow, Nigiri, Kamikaze, and Ceviche. None of these rolls were spicy to me and each was absolutely delicious. I finished things off with the fresh cucumber salad and enjoyed it very much. The Kamikaze roll was my first bite, spicy tuna and sweet sauce, but it wasn't spicy at all. The ceviche roll tasted like a fun ceviche would, with the cilantro and avocado. Everything was fresh and flavorful, but slightly warm temp for my liking. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area. Anything with the crabmeat is not gluten free, and they do have Tamari sauce. You'll probably be asking for More. I had two rolls, salad, and my husband had the Nigiri and Rainbow roll. The total was under $100 for us both and worth it. Edit: came back again for the Crazy & Sexy rolls. The Crazy roll had tuna, salmon, avocado and some chili oil in a delicate packet of goodness. I was impressed with the sexy rolls in cucumber, what a refreshing treat! The tuna, salmon, avocado, and radish were rolled in cucumber slices and marinated in a tangy/savory black pepper vinaigrette. I'll definitely come back for these rolls!Vegetarian options: They do carry vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: They do have gluten free options and can modify some rolls.“
“We came here with some family friends who knew the owners. This place is the bomb. The crab boil is so good. We would 100 percent support this place. The owners were so nice and friendly. If we lived in the area we would be frequent customers but unfortunately we are just visitors. Please go support this place.“
“Best Mexican fusion we have had. We will definitely be back, the Esquite was really good, chili was absolutely delicious, the tempura avocado taco was so different and good, all the meats seasoned good. The waitress was so sweet and attentive, we believe her name is Sam. The way she said she would be right back to take our order when I told her we were ready but she could not take it right at that momentWe had a very enjoyable dinner and glad we found this place by chanceAlmost forgot the mango habanero salsa at the table was amazing but be ready for your mouth to go on fire but it's worth it“
“I love the vibe of the restaurant and the food is DELICIOUS. I got the Ragu Spaghetti, it’s literally amazing and the portions are great if you’re like me and love to eat ?. Saganaki is amaze. The Octopus was also super good. It’s a really cool place in Lake in the Hills.“

“So we went here after the Christmas lights down the st. This place was not too busy so it was easy to get a table and eat. The staff were nice and friendly. We both got a beer and burrito. The burrito steak had such a great flavor. Usually they are pretty plain. This one no way. It was very yummy. And enough for left overs. I am enjoying it for lunch right now. As I wrote this. I will say the condiments were ok not my favorite the dark one had a smoky flavor. And the light one was just hot. The shrimp they serve with the chips was tasty and had a fresh flavor. Very good and worth the try. The menus is very interesting looking. I would have loved to try more of the seafood but was not super hungry yesterday“
“A little disappointed. Went at 5pm and had to wait 45 min for a table. Restaurant was half empty so assumed it must be a staffing issue. Many parties who came after us left vs waiting. We went for Lobsterfest. The Maine lobster tails were very good, but kinda small. My husband had the all you can eat shrimp and the waitress was so busy she never came back after his initial order to ask what shrimp he wanted next. She also didnt bring his side, a baked potato and said it would be a while and asked if he wanted a different side. She never came back. All our fountain drinks were empty and never got refilled. My daughter and I were finished, so when she did come back she took our plates and told us to pay on the electronic pad on the table. I told her my husband wanted more shrimp, so she took his order. We sat there and had to wait 15 min for his shrimp then watch him eat it. He would've gotten more but for times sake, he just wanted to leave. The suggested tip was 18%, 20%, or 22%. Are you kidding me? I left 15%, but the service wasn't even worth that. The food was good though.“
“Such a cute place to have a meal! There's an indoor koi pond with a small boat to make it look like you're on the water near a dock. Some of the seats overlook this area to give it an outdoor feel. Service was very friendly, food was good, and prices were reasonable. It is recommended that you call for a reservation. Complimentary sour dough bread was delicious with the crab dip. House cabernet $7 - Aok. Calamari $14.50 - Crunchy and tasty, biggest portion I've had in a while at a restaurant. Seared sesame tuna $16.50 - Great starter, came with 3 pieces of tuna. Mussels $17 Swordfish $30 Gift of the Ocean Pasta $34 - Creamy sauce with assorted seafood including scallops, clams, mussels, shrimp and squid. .|---/| | @_@ | ..\_^_/..2024“
“Dinner with Mom and husband. Mom had ribs, and we had beer battered cod. Our waitress Sherri was amazing. My mom is on oxygen, and her portable is only good for an hour and a half. Sherri had us served and taken care of with time to spare! That's great service. Thank “

“I used to always call LaBemi's the hidden gem of Crystal Lake restaurants. They had a short decline for a while but they're on their way back up ..!For those of us who enjoy Old Uptown Crystal Lake, there's nothing like these restaurants, taken ya back in time, in quaint old buildings Off the Corporate corridor on Route 14...“
