“My husband and I have been a loyal patron of Jam & Jelly breakfast restaurant for the past 10 years, and it never fails to impress. Teddy, the owner, ensures we are always well taken care of. The food arrives promptly and is incredibly delicious—those pancakes are simply fire! The chorizo omelette is a personal favorite, and the stuffed French toast is to die for. If you find yourself in Darien, Illinois, make sure to stop by this popular mom and pop breakfast spot for an excellent breakfast experience.“

“Stella's really isn't a bad place to go in game when you want to tonight and up making a few bucks on the video poker they need to add an additional Game King machine like they used to have I know there's new one coming off with types of machine's please add another additional game came back overall I give us four of the five stars if people know these places are legit Casino and you can lose just as much money at these smaller places that you can at the casinos so be careful guys the township of Darien Illinois news 2 update the hours for earlier times cuz you pretty much got to wait till 10:11 to enter any property in the darien area most of the establishments and like Westmont and other suburbs that have license video gaming are opening between 8 and 9 a.m. 10:11 a.m. also want to talk about the staff which I don't think you guys pay them enough I think if you paid them 14 $18 an hour tell me more customer-friendly on top of them making some tips but the girl that worked this past evening last night was excellent Astros just to all owners or management that staff other casinos in the Downers Grove Westmont Darien Woodridge area take care of the people that take care of you and trust me they'll be a lot more friendly or workers“

“Cozy place also can get flavored coffees.  We shared a House crepe and the four of us had combos.  I only tasted the Mexican combo and I will try it next time.  Lots of fresh fruit came with the crepes, waffle and french toast. Savory crepes are tempting to try as well.  I tried nice BBQ crepe in Vermont last year and liked it.  Savory crepes are good for lunch and dinner.  Managers were very friendly.“

“I personally usually stop in to eat breakfast here but I'm not opposed to lunch or dinner I just normally stop in for breakfast. The portions are always very generous , food tastes great, and the staff is always attentive and friendly. This is a popular place and for good reason. Also, they have a Mexican restaurant run by a family member it's called Ricky's, and it's about 5-6 blocks east of tonys very good as well.“

“I just had my very first order from Sweet Reserve Bakery and I am completely in love! I ordered a variety. the cookie butter in a jar was probably the best dessert I've ever had! so delicious, perfect serving. super reasonable prices! 5 stars, 4thumbs up!“

“This is a such lovely little cafe in Green Trails. This was the first time I’ve eaten here & all three of us had an amazing meal! I had the power chicken wrap. The flavor was phenomenal. Any reservations I had about a gluten free wrap were immediately gone after I took the first bite. The woman serving us was very lovely. She thanked us for coming in & genuinely said she prepared our lunch for her. It was a lovely way to end our lunch. I can’t wait for this to be a new favorite spot for me.“

“Great bakery! The pastries were so fresh! We got the mango cake and strawberry crepe cake. They were both really good but something about the mango cake made it just perfect! So glad I stopped in to check it out. I'll be back! Coffee here was also nice.“

“Lily's cafe is such a cute breakfast spot! The food was delicious and was out very quickly, the service was great and everything came out perfectly! It is a bit on the smaller side so I would bring no more than 4 people. But I loved eating here, a great hidden gem! We had the stuffed French Toast and it was delicious!“

“This was my first time here, and I had the pizza. It was delicious.They have waffles, crepes, and a pizza toast. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals fully.Our only complaint is that it took 40 minutes for the three of us to be served. There were two people working, and although they were working hard, they seemed overwhelmed and a bit disorganized.“

“We came here to warm up and get a midday snack since we were in the area. We came an hour before closing and there were still plenty of baked goods available. There was also plenty of seating and it was clean inside. I had a blackberry brownie and a blueberry basil matcha latte. I typically dislike sweet drinks so I was hesitant to order the latte. However, it wasn't overly sweet and the flavor was interesting (in a good way). The blackberry brownie was rich and also delicious. My child had a big chocolate chip cookie and devoured it instantly. “I stopped by BlackBerry market on yesterday and the atmosphere was busy but flowed smoothly. The smell of coffee was invigorating and I got the drip coffee , a chocolate chip cookie, iced peppermint coffee and a raspberry lemon muffin!! Service was smooth and effective, the breakfast items were yummy and fresh!! The coffee of the coffee!! Strong yet tranquil!! Fresh drip is self serve!! Loved that! The iced peppermint coffee was just what I needed !! Let me say this.. after breakfast and coffee.. I came home cooked a full dinner and washed clothing and was done before 1pm! lol energy!!!! “Nice cafe with lots of drinks.Service was slow as there was only 1 person managing the whole store.Coffee was really good.They have a lot of Boba tea options if you are interested.Not much to eat here.Not much seating and lounging space. They have 3 high tables and chairs some benches and a couch.Not exactly a cozy place to hangout. It was also very cold there. Had to leave after a few minutes.“

“I just wish I took photos but no biggie because I will be back. For 40 dollars we got two huge plates, an appetizer and drinks. These plates consisted of beef and steak also! You simply do not go out to eat for that price anymore. Prices good, cute little cafe, food taste, quality, portion is PHENOMENAL. Never in my life have I had a more tender meat than the shish kabob. “Waitress stands around talking to other employee. You wave at her to come over and she stands and stares at you. You actually had to tell her to come over to table. Never came back to ask how it was. Told her we want nothing else just the bill. Waited and had to ask for bill again. Not impressed.“

“This is a family favorite! We go here often on weekends, and suggest it to others when they are looking for a new breakfast restaurant in the area! The million dollar bacon and bacodo omelette are two of my favorite. The shrimp and grits was a seasonal dish that I tried recently, and it was really good!“

“We recently catered food for a large party we hosted from Xando. Nothing but good things to say! We ordered the Greek salad, Greek potatoes, chicken Slouvaki, and vegetables. The food was packaged nicely in trays and large bags to ensure it would travel ok in the car. It was still hot when we served it and our guests raved about it. Will definitely order from Xando again in the future.“

“I like this location for the service, I have always had friendly staff whenever I have been here. I could just be lucky but the wait and pace of my meal has been spot on. I have liked everything I have eaten at Blueberry Hill. It is a good spot to stop at for a quick brunch as I did on this visit.“

The breakfast menu is terrific, and every dish I've tried has been great. I especially love their waffles & pancakes (I actually get cravings for them). I especially ❤️ their fresh squeezed orange juice, and try their orange strawberry juice for a really nice twist. Staff is always attentive, friendly, and efficient. Highly recommended!It can get busy (especially weekends) with extended wait times for tables depending on the size of your party. It was wild coming back to the area that I grew up in to visit my parents and find a place that felt like it should have been here all along.Great coffee and free old school/classic arcade games, along with board games and cider/beer options too. “Somewhat quiet place to get a meal. Tried their shakshuka and was pleasantly surprised with how good it tasted. The staff were incredibly hospitable and were very helpful with answering questions. Their house made jam was also amazing and went really well with the English muffin.“

“While I was sad to see The Pancake Cafe go, Fork & Spoon has conquered the big task of filling their shoes. This is my favorite place to pick up lunch on the way home after a morning of running errands. The chicken and spinach panini is my go to! My only note is that the to go drinks are quite small for the price.Parking: I usually go there during the lunch rush so the spots closest to the restaurant are usually filled but since it's in a strip mall area there's plenty more spots just a bit farther down.“

While standing there, a very polite gentleman from the management team walked over and encouraged us to give it a try.I can say that we were not disappointed. The food and the service was excellent. “I came here on a Sunday morning and was pleased with the service and food! My friend and I got seated within 10 mins and decided to split a savory and sweet option. The portobello mushroom focaccia was cooked very well and the portobello itself was very tender and paired well with the peppers and balsamic vinaigrette inside. My favorite item personally is the nutty Nutella waffle, but you should def come in with a sweet tooth if you plan on ordering it:)“

“Cute local coffee shop. I got a cortado with coconut milk, my wife got the special "Witch's Brew", and our daughter got the iced chai latte. My wife and I loved ours, but our daughter said her chai tasted weird. I didn't know until later when she threw it away already, so I can't comment on what happened there. We'll be back when we get back in town.“

“I decided to visit this cafe because of the high reviews. I'm certainly glad that I did. The food was all delicious but what really sets this place apart is the service. Mimi is the nicest lady. She greeted my children warmly. She is very attentive and kind. You can tell she takes pride in her restaurant and making sure you leave in a better mood than you arrived. I'd give the service 10 stars if I could.“

“These days I'm not sure a bakery can really deliver everything one'd hope for in the past. Lezza has a great variety of bakery products, and you'll find some of them to be very reasonably priced. I love the lemon knot cookies and the Italian ice, and you'll find traditional cookies here too as well as danishes and donuts. There are very few independently owned places anymore with variety and low-cost options for treats and coffee, but this is one of them!“

“My husband and I had a late breakfast/early lunch there today and we were "wowed!" Our server Liz was so pleasant and attentive, and our food was great! My breakfast quesadilla was very flavorful and ample in size (plus it came with sides of sour cream, guac and salsa). Half of it came home with me. My husband's sandwich (Glen Forest) was grilled chicken with bacon, cheddar cheese and bbq sauce on sourdough bread. It came with a cup of soup and he opted for the chicken noodle which was hearty and delicious. The fries were fantastic (the double fried kind) and he had leftovers as well. We would both HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!!“

“My FAVORITE coffee spot. The most delicious coffee I can find in the entire area. I moved to Westmont from Carol Stream and I was on the hunt for a go-to coffee shop for MONTHS! Once I found this place, I don't go anywhere else. Delicious and very quick service.“

“After driving past Elijah's in the mornings for the last few months I finally decided to stop in and give it a try (you should always try to support local). I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?) The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked If they made there Scones fresh and she said yes we bake daily. I bought a variety to bring to the gig for the crew this morning. My Coffee was made exactly the way I make it at home and the Scones were still warm and made me feel like I was on Arthur Avenue at Morrone's pastry in the Bronx waiting in line for them to come out of the oven fresh. I must give Elijah's Coffee 5 stars today and recommend it to everybody and I will now be a customer. “Been here twice now, both times the food has been amazing!!! Everything on their menu looks and sounds delicious, and everyone I came with all loved their food as well. I've ordered two of their hot drinks, the chai latte and the mocha latte, both were so delicious. Only downside to the place is that they're very popular so both times I've been there it was absolutely packed and the parking lot was a bit tricky to get in and out of because of the high traffic there. Both times I've gone though it's been on Sunday afternoons so I'm guessing that's their busiest day. Definitely will go again and I highly recommend it!!“

“Eat here a few times per week. Can’t go wrong with any dish, but my favorites are the Breakfast Burrito (the pickled jalapeños they add are a nice touch) and the BLT. Staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend. Price point is very reasonable.“

“Beware this place may become addictive for donut lovers. I think once you visit you will be visiting again for sure! I stopped by to grab just a couple donuts but ended up buying a dozen and a half. I couldn't decide what flavor donuts to buy so I bought three flavored donut including maple/bacon, snickers, blueberry dream and plain. They are mini sized donuts that are made fresh in shop. I also bought a large cold brew with milk which had a good flavor. The lady that helped me was very patient while waiting for me to decide on which donuts to buy. The atmosphere is friendly and seems to be popular with a lot of local people. I will be back for sure! I want to try a few more of the flavored donuts. There is a place to sit outside and a walk up window for a quick stop and shop. They apparently have a lunch as well which includes a hot dog, chips drink and donuts (see menu board photo). Overall, this little donut shop is a great addition to the shopping area near the train stop and for locals.“

“I work at Lyons Township High School right across the street! I treated my coworker for her birthday. We ordered the Deluxe Skillet and a BLT Wrap, order was ready at the specified time.., friendly greeting when I arrived. Everything was really good, my BLT wrap was loaded with bacon! It came with a soup and a side I chooses frost fruit.“

“My mother-in-law has dementia and she had run into here, so naturally I had to run in after her (always turn on the child locks on your minivan lol). When I entered the doors, I expected to be greeted with Betty screeching and threatening to call the police, but what I found instead was the warm welcoming embrace of the Winning Circle. The sound of video gaming machines sang an angelic chorus to my weary ears. The bartender welcomed me to take a seat. That's when time stopped, and I saw bathed in glorious light the words, "Taquitos $4". As in a dream, I ordered without even realizing that words were coming out of my mouth. They served me a colossal drink, and I plopped into one of the comfortable seats by the video one armed bandit. Now I know what you're thinking, you're probably wondering if the chair broke. Don't worry, I have been known to crush metal chairs lol. I'm not offended lol, I am just healthy and not afraid to express myself. But the chair DID NOT BREAK! Anyway great place, I won nearly 300, which paid for all those taquitos and drinks. Update - the police ended up bringing Betty home. Server was not attentive and didn't check in on us; hence 3 stars it is Portions were good compared to the price point. At every table, there's plenty of flavored creamers, jams, and sweeteners. Here's what we ordered: - Signature Honeyberry french toast $15: toast was thick, a bit on the dry side. Flavorful with mascarpone, berries, and fresh berries -Florence Benedict $15: exactly what I wanted. Perfect poached eggs with bacon & spinach -South of the Border Skillet $17: great combination with chorizo, avocado, and other flavors. I would order it again. -Carnivore Skillet $16: a bit dry, but understandable since it's only meat and hash browns -Latte $6: milk and coffee combo was nice but vanilla flavor was a bit too much adding artificial flavor to the coffee. Next time, I'll opt for coffee -coffee $3.50: bottomless coffee with refill coffee... who would complain? Overall, experience wasn't bad because food was good. I'd give it another try.“
