“Love the food, service is excellent and the people are friendly. One thing puzzles me though. Both the Mid Week special and the Family Feast have the same base: Spaghetti, Torpedo and Garlic bread. The Mid Week special comes with Cinnamon Bread which is free, so you're just paying for the base. The Family Feast comes with a quart of soda which is not indicated as free, so you're paying for the base plus the soda. Why does the Mid Week special cost more?”

I seriously got my money worth instead of going to some fast food place which would have costed the same if not more. I spent 9 dollars and got a drink and a delicious double cheese burger that was cooked to order. 😋 they also have ice cream so it would be a great place to go for the kids, they have many flavors. And even with them being super busy I literally only waited a few minutes to get my food. I was very impressed about the wait time with it being cooked from order super fresh veggies and again I'd highly recommend coming here.”

“I love Coffee Connection! I don't drink coffee but I LOVE their Iced Vanilla Chai Tea. It's the best I have ever had anywhere and I have tried a ton! The employees are always bright and cheery and that's been the case every trip for the last 13+ years. I used to live across the street and I visited often back then. We moved about 10 years ago and now whenever I'm in the area I have to stop for a tea. Today was one of those days and the tea was the perfect like always! Thank you Coffee Connection!”

“Highly recommend Door 4 Brewing in Decatur . doesn't look like much from the parking lot but once you enter, the brewery is very inviting clean , nice music and the James at the bar is outstanding. All their offerings are on big screen TV for you to read with styles ratings and pricing.. they also have a decent selection of Guest taps, wine and liquor. Sampled a couple flights they were all very good The Munich Dunkel was my favorite. The Custom 1903 was outstanding for an American Lager They also have KCs smokehouse on site. Their barbecue is legit very good offering brisket, ribs, chicken, turkey rib tips a d pulled pork. their sides are very good. You have to try the smoked potatoes.”

“This was our first time here. To the point, service was not the quickest but there was only 1 server and a cook that I could see. Server was nice and took good care of us. Took our order, brought drinks, did refills, etc., in a timely manner. Food was hot, good and plenty of it. Not fancy, good homecooked food and you don't have to do the dishes! Once we were seated our server Cameron M was extremely friendly and offered right away to get us something to drink. She gave recommendations, offered add on such as cheese with our eggs and read our order back to us to ensure it was correct. A couple minutes later I opened the foil and bag it was wrapped in and the crust on one side was soggy, like it had been in water. Unfortunately we were traveling on the interstate so I couldn't return it. The crust and flavor of the pizza, isn't as good as it use to be. We order this when traveling back to the area. The counter person gave me the plates and utensil as requested, I also asked for a couple for parmesean cheese packets and 1 red pepper, I received 10 or more of each. What a waste, hard to keep your costs down when you give away product that is usually thrown away.”

The older woman with dark hair and glasses we typically see working is extremely polite, and very precise and careful in how she makes our sandwiches. The restaurant is clean, and most importantly, they keep the containers covered, so flies don't do their business on the food like you see in some other Subways. I used to work for Subway, and that is my ultimate pet peeve. Uncovered containers. It shows laziness, and very bad hygiene. No one wants to eat something flies have been swarming on. Maybe that's why the one on Mound rd has always made me sick after eating. I've learned to avoid that one despite them being right down the road.”

“I stopped by HotShots Bar & Grill around 3 PM and was impressed right from the moment I walked in. The service was quick—someone greeted me as soon as I stepped through the door, and within the first 30 minutes, I noticed the management (Drew) making their rounds, personally checking in with customers. That kind of attention to detail is always a good sign.

The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The music was playing at just the right volume—not too loud, not too quiet—and the lighting set a chill vibe without being too dim. Even though it was a slower time of day, the place still had a welcoming energy that made me want to hang out longer.

Food came out fast and hot, just the way it should. My drink was perfectly mixed with the right balance—no heavy hand on the liquor or syrupy mess. And I’ve gotta give a shoutout to Bri, the bartender. She was amazing—friendly, on top of things, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.”

This is an all-around great experience. I had a dish with three different sauces and each had a unique flavor and made me want more. The chips were warm, the salsa was perfect and each was replenished without hesitation by the attentive staff. The house margarita was perfect, not too sweet, not too sour. We will be back and soon!”
