“Had a very nice Ribeye steak dinner this evening at The Sport Zone. We also sampled the Rib Tips. On Mondays they have Rib Tips and Fries for $5 and they are very good. Everything was delicious, reasonably priced and the service was great.”

The Mid Week special comes with Cinnamon Bread which is free, so you're just paying for the base. The Family Feast comes with a quart of soda which is not indicated as free, so you're paying for the base plus the soda. Why does the Mid Week special cost more?”

“I went in because I saw that chicken gnocchi was the special for soup of the day and they were sold out. I'm so glad they were! Had they not have been sold out, I wouldn't have tried the absolutely amazing hearty lentil and vegetable soup. The vegetables were diced up in small pieces so you actually get a bit of everything in every bite and the broth was SO flavorful. I added some mozzarella to mine once I got home and it was amazing. I will definitely be back to try the other flavors and the sandwiches! This is a great new addition to our community.”

Everyone was super friendly from the bartenders to the kitchen staff and our waitress was top notch! Our drinks never got to less than half full and she checked on us just enough! The food was soooo good! Their hand cut fries are cooked to perfection and today we was going in for lunch so we got burgers and they was so full of flavor and prepared just how we asked. “I love Coffee Connection! I don't drink coffee but I LOVE their Iced Vanilla Chai Tea. It's the best I have ever had anywhere and I have tried a ton! The employees are always bright and cheery and that's been the case every trip for the last 13+ years. I used to live across the street and I visited often back then. We moved about 10 years ago and now whenever I'm in the area I have to stop for a tea. Today was one of those days and the tea was the perfect like always! Thank you Coffee Connection!”

“I live 5 minutes away from Friendly's and I go for breakfast so this review is concernd with breakfast only. I have gone for 2+ years of typical 2x a week for breakfast. I go early in the 6:15 to 6:30a range. My awesome Lissa, who opens 7 days a week is a phenomenal waitress and she makes the best bloody mary per my request. I have basically 2 menu items I do order from. But typically I get #12. Half order of biscuits and gravy, fried red potatoes, 2 sausage patties and 2 eggs over medium. Everything is smothered in jalapenos and I douse with redhot. I take 1/2 home for another meal. I can not say enough how good everything is, the service provided and having ample leftovers for a second meal.”

“I came to Olive Garden in Decatur a few weeks back with my boyfriend and was served by Drew R. He is such a gem! Outgoing personality and very welcoming. Helped us in a timely manner and the food was great. We got the endless soup/salad and he got the dishes out quickly(which we were eating them quickly too). Always had breadsticks and salad on the table. We noticed he was also doing takeouts. How he did it so quickly and with great ease was astounding. I usually do not leave reviews but was inclined to because of great service. Left a good tip. Hope to go back soon and have him as our server again. ♥️”

Thx all you volunteers.I have many food allergies due to an autoimmune disease & appreciate the problems this can cause in the kitchen & offices.Everyone here gets it right an amazing 98% of the time except for the green+black eyed peas & lima beans which I just don't eat. Sometimes I can freeze them to give to someone who needs them so they don't go to waste. Except, no homeless coming by to give them to so far this year. Could you please pray for our homeless whether they are still with us or not?”

“We had the most excellent experience at Cracker Barrel Decatur, IL. Upon entry we were greeted in a kind manner. Once we were seated our server Cameron M was extremely friendly and offered right away to get us something to drink. After she brought our drinks to the table she made sure we were ready to order and was very knowledgeable about menu items. She gave recommendations, offered add on such as cheese with our eggs and read our order back to us to ensure it was correct. She checked on us between the time we ordered and when the food was brought to the table and made sure we had plenty to drink. Our food arrived at the table hot and delicious. “This was my first time at this place and the first thing I noticed was there is only one pool table. Once I got inside the staff gave me a warm greeting and made me feel like a regular. The bar was spacious and well stocked. They had a free taco bar that night and it was delicious. I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and will be going back soon.”

The older woman with dark hair and glasses we typically see working is extremely polite, and very precise and careful in how she makes our sandwiches. The restaurant is clean, and most importantly, they keep the containers covered, so flies don't do their business on the food like you see in some other Subways. I used to work for Subway, and that is my ultimate pet peeve. Uncovered containers. It shows laziness, and very bad hygiene. No one wants to eat something flies have been swarming on. Maybe that's why the one on Mound rd has always made me sick after eating. I've learned to avoid that one despite them being right down the road.”

“I stopped by HotShots Bar & Grill around 3 PM and was impressed right from the moment I walked in. The service was quick—someone greeted me as soon as I stepped through the door, and within the first 30 minutes, I noticed the management (Drew) making their rounds, personally checking in with customers. That kind of attention to detail is always a good sign.

The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The music was playing at just the right volume—not too loud, not too quiet—and the lighting set a chill vibe without being too dim. Even though it was a slower time of day, the place still had a welcoming energy that made me want to hang out longer.

Food came out fast and hot, just the way it should. My drink was perfectly mixed with the right balance—no heavy hand on the liquor or syrupy mess. And I’ve gotta give a shoutout to Bri, the bartender. She was amazing—friendly, on top of things, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.”
