In Chicago there are a plethora of hot dog stands or mom and pop restaurants that are superior. But for a chain, Five Guys is still right up there on the list. “I moved from Chicago 40 years ago and haven't been to Parky's since I was a kid. It was our go-to hot dog spot prior to 1972 when we moved from River Forest. Going back was such a thrill for me after so long, and it hasn't changed! I had forgotten that these dogs come off the grill and aren't soaking in hot dog water for hours (not there is anything wrong with an HDW soak). I love a nice char on my dogs, so this was a pleasant surprise. So glad I made the detour!“

“The guy behind the counter was a little gruff and curt with me, but once he saw that I had my dog with me, he warmed up a bit. Otherwise, the hot dogs were tasty, but I was expecting more tots than what was served to me. Also, the way that the restaurant was shot in the photos listed online were very deceptive; way smaller space than expected, and really no place to sit and enjoy your food.“

“We moved here two years ago from NY and finally had Josh’s for dinner. Their menu is fantastic, with a lot of different options. We had the Ribs and Greek Chicken dinner. My husband said “these are amongst the best ribs I’ve ever had”. The Greek chicken was amazing. The food portions are more than generous. This will be our Friday night go to place for sure! “We recently moved to the neighborhood and noticed Hubby's after leaving the Farmers Market a few weeks ago. My husband noticed they advertised catering on their building, so we thought we should reach out for our kiddos 1st Birthday Party. They DID NOT disappoint! Marcie responded to emails promptly. She was very accommodating with adding extra food last minute (86 guests), and their hot dog cart was such a nice touch for our baseball themed party. Our guests loved the hot dogs and mini Italian beef sandwiches! We were even able to accommodate our vegan guests with hot dogs too! We cannot wait to check out their spot in person and try other menu items as well! Thank you SO much for making our littles first birthday extra special!“

In addition to it, Costco have always come to our rescue when it comes to renovations including buying flooring, outdoor lights, furniture. And their customer service is TOP NOTCH. We never think twice buying from Costco knowing the fact Costco got us covered.“

The dog had that legendary Vienna Beef snap, properly “dragged through the garden” with all the fixin’s—no ketchup, of course. The fries were hot and golden. “Gpay didn't work and I had no physical card. After trying the Gpay several times, I gave up. The manager asked for the drink I was drinking back, lol. I got in the car, saw my wallet in the seat and decided not to go back in.
