“I found out I had to host Christmas days before the 25th. I can't describe how friendly, helpful and extremely serviceable they were with me placing a catering order only 2 days from Christmas. Since I needed for the 25th, they opened specifically for my order.....Wow!! The service was phenomenal the food was exceptional!! Truly blessed to have them in the neighborhood! Puerto Rican rice, tostones. lechon, ham and potato salad enough for the entire family (25 people) with left overs for the next day. Thank you doesn't seem enough for the owners. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and service. BTW......pistachio coquito......amazing!!!“

“we went for lunch. It felt so intimate and luxury experience. Alina, our server was super professional in all her manners. Food super good!! maybe too much fried rice compared to meat but we had leftovers and we ate a lot! Portions are good size. we went saturday for lunch and it was almost empty what is was great. Luxury decor but at the same time so Andean authentic. Great modern-Andean combination. Also!!! If you are chemical sensitive or sensitive to chemical smells place has no air fresheners, also napkins, table cloths are fragrance free!! water is not filtered though but only 1 in one million restaurants is. Just bring a cover for your seating but you will enjoy the experience. Also place is immaculate clean.“

“We went to Mago in Barrington last night for the first time and were blown away. They were very busy so we sat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Food was terrific and the menu features things you won’t find at your standard Mexican restaurant like three choices of mole. Tableside guacamole is absolutely lovely. I have to say, though, what made our experience was watching the magnificent bartender. His efficiency, speed, and obvious dedication to what he was doing was just a marvel. He never stopped moving! We will definitely be back as every aspect of our experience was very enjoyable.“

“The restaurant itself has a gorgeous modern trendy feel. Staff was courteous and attentive. And I loved the variations of entrees. It's not your typical mexican restaurant. They put a twist on EVERYTHING. Knowing that everything is made IN HOUSE is a plus for me. Definitely a place I would recommend for a party, family gathering or evening just a meal with friends.
